It had been a relatively quiet week for the young justice and the justice league outside of the normal low level threat criminals that always seemed there to be a new off so the team had decided to have a game night.

Most of the team where all gathered in a game of mario party while some of the others played other board games or just watched as the chaos was inevitable just like any round of mario party.

Dick was doing his best to crush everyone in Mario party. All the while snacking on a bag of cheese crackers. “Come on, come on.. YES!” Dick smiled as he got the last of the others eaten by a giant eel in one of the mini games. Wally slammed his hands against the ground and leaned back into a chair 

“This is rigged! How does he keep winning!” Wally winned as Dick chuckled as they were back to the board and Conner cast his dice to see how many steps he could take towards the star Megan had her arms crossed as she watched from the side “I don’t know what you guys are so worked up about, I’m in first by a mile!” mgann smiled confidently

“That can change so quick in this game though m´gann so watch out” dick smiled as he watched wally send a boo to artemis to steal coins Wally was cackling with laughter as Artemis’ coins were taken “Wally I’m gonna throw you out the window!” Artemis said, annoyed as she pushed Wally's shoulder.

As everyone laughed at the two's banter it was dicks turn and he geared up hovering over a cursed dice on Conner who was nearest the star. “dont you dare use that dice” conner said  looking briefly over at dick with a playful glare  “I can and I will, this is a Mario party we are playing. What did you think was going to happen?” Dick teased him as he watched Connor be one space away from the star Conner groaned, knowing there was no arguing with that logic 

“One day I’m gonna make you pay for this” conner said looking over at dick “I know, but I think this is worth it” dick grinned as they played for a few more rounds before most of the others went to bed or to do something else leaving only conner and dick still going at it this time in mario kart.  

“hmhmhm” dick snickered as he looked at conner who was so focused on a hard part of a course he had gotten too since they were playing the haunted house track while dick got ready up behind conner with a red shell as they got close to the finish line. 

Conner was of course dumbfounded when the race was over and the replay started, showing how dick had thrown the red shell at the last possible moment and knocked conner off track racing over the finishline himself. “What?!-How? how did you do that?! you must be cheating!” conner said in a suprised tone looking over at dick who was grinning as conners shoulders slumped and the controller was gently thrown to the side.

 “no cheating here, just got the timing right” dick ginned looking at conner who just shook his head a little irritated but also amused at how dick manegded to do this. “i am so going to get you back for that- and actually this whole night” conner chuckled as he remembered something he had discovered back when dick was in his robin days, 

while he still sometimes used this little discovery and he figured this would be the perfect time for it to push dick down a few pegs. “and just how are you going to do that?” dick said smiling as he glanced at conner his eyes widening slightly as he saw the look on conners face as the boy wonder slowly recognised what it meant.

“i think you already know” conner grinned as he sat up a little more, the consols and game quickly forgotten as the two boys looked at eachother for a second before dick got up slowly and bolted running down the hall of the cave with conner in toe as he tried to shake the kryptonian off his back dick turned a few corners before the two had ran into the training room, luckly no one was training at this hour to see them.

Dick grinned as he looked around before seeing the obstacle course thinking that was his best shot as he ran over and started to climb. Meanwhile Conner walked into the room looking around for a bit before spotting dick on top of the first obstacle of ropes grinning down at him.

“You know you can’t escape me” Conner teased as he walked over and stood right under where dick was hanging onto the spider web like ropes. “Don’t be so sure” dick said back as he watched Conner look around before Conner sighed throwing his head back before starting to climb up after him. 

“And that’s my cue” dick smiled as he continued on the obstacle course going over to the next part that was balance. Quickly climbing down dick started walking over the balance bridge smiling as he began to walk backwards just to egg Conner on as dick was watching the kryptonion catch up to him. 

“Still think you can catch up?” Dick teased but his smirk quickly fell as he looked at Conner who chuckled and remembered, unlike dick that they were not confined to the obstacle course as Conner jumped down onto the safety mattresses under the balancing bridge

“what was that? I didn’t quite catch it” Conner teased back holding a hand to his ear as he watched dick turn on his heel and start running “shit, shit, shit, shit-“ dick giggled trying to hold his balance as a familiar type of giddy energy rushed through the former acrobat while Conner rushed up behind dick. 

Unfortunately much faster than dick was able to balance along as soon dick felt something grab his leg making him loose balance as Conner caught him before he face planted into the mat “just like old times” Conner smirked while dick sighed playfully and went limp like a child not wanting to leave the playground.

“Fine you win” dick said with a small smile still feeling the adrenaline rush through him. Unbeknownst to dick who tried to get out of Conner’s grip, Conner already had another plan as he hoisted dick up on his shoulder holding the acrobat hanging over his back by his legs “hey! What are you doing?” Dick said but he in reality knew what was coming deep down as his stomach flipped.

“I think you already know” Conner teased looking over his shoulder down at dick who had now realised he couldn’t sneak his way out of this (which wasn’t the worst situation to be stuck in)

After Conner had glanced around the room he just flopped dick down on the safety matrass under the balance bridge prompting dick to try to get up by turning around onto his stomach but Conner held onto the acrobats heel stopping him in his tracks “okahay okay, you caught me now we can get back to the game” dick tried to argue as he fought a giddy smile that tried to make itself shown on his face but loosing badly. “Nah, this is much more fun, and I said I was going to get my revenge for tonight” Conner said grinning as he reached down to dicks side giving it a little squeeze making dick tense up and jump “oh fuck” dick sighed turning into a half giggle as Conner poked him again. 

“Language” Conner teased sitting down over dicks legs so he couldn’t crawl away “I am not 10” dick laughed as Conner kept poking him every now and then just getting started “you will always be 13 to me” Conner said grinning as dick sighed “I am technically older than you you know” dick said teasing back

 “you don’t act like it” Conner said with a shrug as he suddenly began scribbling his fingers against dicks side “ack!-hehey! Ohoh Dohont you dahare” dick giggled trying to look behind himself and hold Conner’s hands away from his sides by the wrist but it was futile effort against the strength of the kryptonion who in comparison felt like a older sibling fighting against the younger.

“What about here then?” Conner said moving from dicks sides to his ribs making the acrobat buck “nohoho” dick laughed smiling as he slammed his arms against his ribs to protect himself but accidently trapping Conner’s fingers there “gehehet tehem ouhout” dick giggled shaking his upper body while even if Conner’s fingers stayed in place unfortunately (or not) for dick it still tickled him just by the fact that the touch was there and of course his mind was making it worse was he couldn’t see what was happening behind him. 

“They are stuck, I can’t” Conner said with fake concern “you knohow juhust as wehell as mehehe that you cahan pull thehehem out!” Dick giggled out face planting in the mattress from laughing making Conner chuckle and let up for a bit so dick could breathe. 

“Finally, have you had your fun?” dick chuckled trying to look up twisting his head to the side while catching his breath “mmm.. not yet” Conner smiled as he without warning forced his ‘trapped’ fingers up from dicks ribs to his armpits wiggling the tips into the hollow “okahay okay okay, cohohonner mohohove!” Dick burst out laughing trying to buck Conner off him but of course he was stuck. 

“Fine I will” Conner said smiling as he let dick have a break again as he let go of dick laughing as dick rolled onto his back with a clear giddy smile on his lips from the tickling “so are we good?” Dick asked with a grin still feeling the ghost of Conner’s fingers on his sides “yeah, but that’s what you get for cheating” Conner smirked “I didn’t cheat I swear I am just good at the game” dick chuckled in mock offense. “Well lets get back to the tv, we still have one last race before we finish the cup” conner grinned as he reched down to help dick who nodded saying 

“yeah thats true” as he just to tease he first went up into a bridge stand before going up in a handstand and then landing on his feet meanwhile Conner rolled his eyes playfully before they both started walking back to the living room and tv where the replay of dick sneaking past Conner’s cart and into the finish line was still on loop
