ermmm parrot there’s 100% no pressure to write this.. but maybe as a fic idea what’s ur opinion on Hermes getting wrecked by the winions + Aeolus? I’ve noticed a lot of people in the fandom teaming Aeolus and Hermes up as friends and i can see it tbh.. they have such flattering energies for each other

Summary: Hermes and Aeolus have a hangout, and the winions decide a little mischief is in order.
A/N: OF COURSE MOOTIE! Also this idea is totally adorable. And also also, you’re making art for me?!! AHHHHH/pos THANK YOU SO MUCH GRR I DONT DESERVE YOU. Anyway, with all that being said, ENJOY! :3
P.s: I’m not super clear on Aeolus’ gender so I’m using they/them :3
“Heeyyyy, Aeolus! I’m here~!”
Hermes’ cheerful voice echoed along the walls of the palace as he entered through the large doors.
Today was a hangout day for the two, a time they got together to play games, cause mischief and gossip.
Aeolus floated on her little cloud over to him.
“It’s about time! Took you surprisingly long considering you’re the god of speed.” They teased with a slight laugh, smiling brightly.
“Well, I’ll have you know I’m quite the busy man.” Hermes teased back, suppressing a laugh himself to try and stay in character.
“Of course you are. Anyway, come in, come in! I have so much to talk about!”
“Haha, of course, darling! I have much to talk about as well.” Hermes lowered his voice to a stage whisper. “As a god of messages, I hear a lot of things”
Aeolus laughed and Hermes laughed with them.
“I’m sure you do, Hermes.”
They made their way into the main room, sitting on the couch next to each other.
“So, I have to tell you what happened the other day.”
“Oh? Please, go on.” Hermes put one hand on his face, showing interest.
“So there was this big storm that came through, right? And it was super foggy. And then a giant cloud came right through my island! Me and the Winions couldn’t see anything!”
“Hahahahaha! That sounds like quite the time, darling.”
Another laugh from Aeolus. “That it was. And the cloud pieces got stuck in some of the buildings, so we had to clean it up by hand!”
“hahaha! I can only imagine the hassle that was.”
The two continued to talk and gossip, catching up from what happened since the last time they got together. They laughed and talked together, their merriment echoing along the marble halls of Aeolus’ palace.
The Winions were getting bored. They loved their owner, and uncle Hermes, but often times when they got together, the poor creatures were left out of the fun. That was, until they were brought up in the conversation.
“Oh, the Winions are so mischievous! I love them so much, but they can certainly cause a bit of trouble. I’m so proud.” Aeolus dramatically put their hand to their heart and wiped a fake tear from their eye.
The act got another loud giggle from Hermes.
“Yeah!” The Winions chorused. “We are mischievous!”
Aeolus laughed, petting the Winion closest to them.
“Ohoho, you do not know how often they decide to mess with me.”
“Really now? How so, darling?”
“They loooove to tickle me.” Aeolus responded, getting an agreeing chorus from the creatures.
“Oh? You’re ticklish, are you?”
Aeolus laughed. “Yeah. Just you wait until they decide to have a little tickle fest on you.”
“I ain’t worried about it. I’m sure I can handle whatever the fuzzballs throw at me.” Hermes taunted, challenging them to do it- because, quite honestly, he could use a good tickling right about now.
“Oh really now?” Aeolus teased, smirking as Hermes leaned back and put his arms behind his head. He did it to look cocky, but also as an invitation. Aeolus looked to the Winions. “Winions? Get him.”
The creatures happily did so, flying over to the god and beginning to tickle him. Hermes wore a giddy smile as they flew over, happy that his little plan had worked.
As soon as their little paws touched him, claws wiggling along his exposed stomach and sides, he bursted into gleeful giggles. “Eehahahahaha! Ohoho myhyhy-!”
“Not so tough now, are ya?” Aeolus teased, giggling along with the infectious sound.
Hermes didn’t expect it to tickle quite this much, but he wasn’t complaining. He didn’t even move his arms from behind his head as the small creatures continued to scribble along his skin.
Aeolus knew exactly what Hermes had planned, chuckling as they teased. “You know, if you wanted to be tickled so bad you coulda just asked.”
“Ihihi knohohow! Buhut wheheheres thehe fuhun ihin thahat?” Hermes taunted slightly through his joyful laughter, squirming slightly but never trying to push them away.
Aeolus huffed in amusement. “I guess you have a point.”
The Winions continued their mischievous game, finding every single ticklish spot on Hermes and wiggling their claws into it. Hermes was extremely happy, his wings flapping as a sort of joyful stim as his infectious, bubbly giggles echoed along the walls of the palace.
His laughter increased in pitch when one of the little creatures worked their way into the crevices of his neck, scurrying along the area. Hermes scrunched up on instinct, another fit of bubbly laughter overtaking him.
“Eheheheee! Thahahat tihihickles- ehehehe!”
“Awww, Does it? Does it tickle? Does it tickle tickle tickle~” Aeolus teased, a blush forming on Hermes’ face from fluster, and his giggles growing slightly from the butterflies accompanying the teasing. “Does it feel all tingly? Does it make you all smily and giggly and happy~”
“Ehehehehehe yehehehehes! Ahahahaha-!”
The Winions continued to poke and scratch and tease at Hermes’ skin, and getting inspired by Aeolus, started to use their voices to tease the messenger.
“Tktktktktk~ hehehe, your giggles are infectious, uncle Hermes!”
“Yeah!” “Yeah!” They all chorused together, eliciting a bright blush and a further symphony of giggles.
His laughter grew even bubblier (somehow), when the Winions started to target his ribs and underarms, getting high-pitched, joyful giggles. “Eeeehahahahahhaha! Ohoho gohohods- ahahaha!”
“Oooo, that a good spot?”
“Yehehehehehes! Ahahahahahaha-! Tihihihickles sohoho muhuhuch! Ihihi lohohove ihit!” Hermes squirmed and giggled happily, not afraid to show just how much fun he was having.
“It’s adorable how much you love being tickled.” Aeolus teased once again with a slight chuckle, making Hermes flush a little from the compliment.
“Whahahat cahan ihi sahahay? Ihits ahah lohotta fuhun!”
“Yay!” “Fun!” The Winions continued to chorus in response, happy to be making Hermes happy.
Hermes truly was having a blast, but he was also starting to get tired, and Aelous could tell.
“Alright, guys, he’s had enough.”
The Winions give a collective, disappointed, “awwww..” but stop anyway.
Hermes smiles lazily, eyes fighting to stay open as his energy had been drained. He moves his arm to gently, sleepily pet the closest winion on the head. “Don’t worry little guys, you can tickle me again some other day.”
The words get another excited murmur from them.
“Alright, let’s get you rested up so you can actually do your job properly when you leave.” Aeolus said, starting to walk towards the guest room, slowing down to allow a very sleepy Hermes to catch up.
He yawns and stretches as he stands. “Sounds like a plan to me.”
They get to the guest room and Hermes lays down wings folded lazily. “G’night…”
“It’s mid afternoon.” Aeolus raises an eyebrow.
“Whatever..” Hermes mumbles before drifting off completely, and Aeolus and the Winions watch over him as he sleeps.
What a successful hang out.
