Calling all Simmers and legacy lovers! 🧬 This one is for you if you're craving a long-term, generation-spanning challenge that lets you dive deep into every expansion pack. Created by the incredible @sublimesims for the rules 📜 and myself for the visuals 🎨, we bring you the Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge! 🌈 Each generation is inspired by the packs and lets you explore new features, worlds, and ways to play—perfect for anyone who loves the storytelling possibilities of The Sims 4! 📚

Inspired by the classic Sims 3 Lepacy, this challenge gives us a chance to evolve gameplay each gen with new expansion packs 🌎, and only those packs (plus any optional add-ons, if you're feeling it!). It's not about cramming every feature in—it's about growing, evolving, and diving into each expansion with intention 🌱. Special shoutout to annaliesembsims, whose Sims 4 lepacy challenge inspired us too! 💖✨

Quick Start for Gen 1 💼🌆

Start off in one of the base game towns (Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, or Newcrest) 🌿🏡. Your founder sim arrives here, ready to build a life and career from scratch. They’ll make friends, fall in love with a townie 💑, and set the foundation for generations to come! Each gen has its own story and flavor, making it all about your unique sims’ adventures, dreams, and quirks. 🎉

From Get to Work 🏢👩‍⚕️ in Gen 2 to Horse Ranch 🐴🍇 in Gen 15, every expansion offers new goals and gameplay twists. Plus, each generation lists all the packs released the same year, so you can go all out if you want to keep it era-authentic. 🎞️🌌

also Colin did complete both of the Batuu aspirations and reached the top of the scoundrel branch sooooooo

Hi all. With doing one post per day of gameplay, I currently have a queue for the next 40 days. I'm debating about doubling my posts to two per day but it's also nice to have a backlog since I will be super busy with moving and getting married in the next few weeks! Feedback is welcome.

One of my reasons is this: It's already time to choose an heir for our World Adventures generation! The poll is below, but I realize that voting may be hard since they haven't even been born yet in my posts.

Here we have Nina's oldest, Ida. She's an excitable loner who's a light sleeper and absent-minded. Her favorite color is brown and she enjoys Latin music and vegetarian grilled salmon. Ida is super responsible, no one's ever had to ask her to do her homework or help out with her baby brother. She excels in school and loves to autonomously read.

Our other option is Geoffrey, the baby of the family. Geoffrey is a neurotic, excitable, and easily impressed evil sim. His favorite color is black and he likes classical music and vegetarian dim sum. He's met the Grim Reaper a few times and always stops to chat, rolls wishes to see his sister's fiery ghost, and, through no fault of his own, has always been the forgotten member of his family.
