He faltered. Raph’s back was to him—he could pick out the jagged edge of his shell, as he loomed over the bed—but he hadn’t so much as twitched at Donnie’s less than stealthy entry. Instinct was screaming at him that something was terribly wrong.

He lunged for the light switch, and Raph didn’t even flinch at the sudden influx of brightness. He was completely still, staring down at Leo with the same murderous look he’d had on Staten Island, one huge hand wrapped around his brother’s neck—

Donnie’s mind whited out.
