Pirate Lionel
Okay no idea if you're going to use this but this is too fun to not pass up.
There was a batman variant where Bruce Wayne was a pirate called Leatherwing and his ship was called the flying fox. His crew was called Robin redblade
Leonel: Robin redblade can't be your real name.
Robin: I refuse to be lectured by Blackmane!

Oh this could work, except its not Bruce Wayne but rather an ancestor of his named Solomon Wayne who took to privateering for the British. He's not a pirate but a privateer that hunts Spanish ships and other pirates, and uses the goods and funds to build New Rotterdam (Gotham City).
He mostly sticks to the Florida peninsula, often sighted around St. Augustine and Ponce de Leon, plundering fat Spanish galleons and hunting the Caribbean pirates that have crossed the Crown.
He was a legendary privateer called Leatherwing known for his use of early morning sea fog that when the rising sun hits it just right, his ship The Flying Fox is said to resemble a frightening, giant bat. His first mate is a man named Robin "Red Blade" Grayson who has no fear and eagerly dives into a fight with the fury of a red robin.
Leonel "Blackmane" Luthor only encounters him twice and its closer to Wayne's later years when he starts patrolling along the eastern seaboard as the Spanish Empire has waned much by the time Leonel establishes himself as a pirate.
Wayne is one of the few pirate hunters that has come close to capturing Leonel for the British.
