CHARACTER IN GENERAL: CERSEI IS DA QUEEN. I’ll be very very honest and say that, when I first read ‘A Game of Thrones’, before the watching the show, I didn’t like her - I was 100% a Stark stan, specially when it came to Arya, and we all know Arya’s view of her. When I did watch the show I was more or less neutral about her, because by then I had a different favorite house, and while they also hated Lannisters, not being influenced by another character’s view as much lead me to not dislike her as much; but it was only when reading the books again, and specially after rping that Cersei grew on me so much she’s definitely on my top favorite characters. And I really love her. That’s not to say she isn’t flawed, but that even with all the flaws she’s awesome. Cersei is more than people give her credit for, both within the story and in the fandom. Did I say I love her? She’s so complex and well written and if there is one thing I adored about that awful show it was Cersei being queen on her own.
HOW THEY PLAY THEM: There are many Cersei rpers, and there are some that are absolutely amazing at rping her (Melody herself is always praising them too iausfjkasndf) but leomatrem is a personal favorite. Melody’s writing is very true to Cersei’s character and complexity, and I love how much thought she puts in gestures and body language and all the things Cersei feels but conceals. Her writing itself is praise-worthy, as I have written with Melody with other characters and she played each of them wonderfully. And, well, her love and defensiveness towards Cersei and the thought she gives to the little things and her wonderful headcanons and making an already complex character even deeper — she’s an awesome Cersei okay.
THE MUN: Is my favorite person in this website. Tbh in the internet, in general, since we live waaay too far from each other to have met in person. Anyway, Melody is my friend and I love her. We’ve been writing together for a little over a year now, and talking to each other for more or less that long, too. Melody is kind to everyone, always welcoming (to other Cerseis too! I’m pretty sure she loves talking to other people who love Cersei as much as she does so if you’re a Cersei rper and would like that too she’s right there friend) and so nice. She’d also fight anyone bothering her friends so don’t do that. Don’t hate on Cersei either. And be nice to her because she deserves only the best, always uwu

OVERALL OPINION: Like her or not, denying Cersei is a complex, well written character would be a huge lie – and Melody’s lovely writing captures her so well, adding even more depth to her character. The mun is my bae and I’d recommend that wonderful human being to everyone always… so yeah. Overall opinion is follow her if you’re not following, because you’re missing out a great writer and an awesome person.
