As a fellow resident of Shimmering Oaks, Kitty did not have far to travel to visit her old friend. Once she had overseen the moving van unpacking her things and putting them in her room at her sire’s home, she sent a few texts to confirm details with the bakery and wine distillery and then quickly changed.
Since she was seeing Leo for the first time in a year, the old vampire had spared no expense on the artisanal cake she had ordered, the champagne being delivered to Leo’s home address or the outfit she had chosen. The blonde had selected a puff-sleeve off the shoulder silk-dupioni gown in a lime green, paired with a pair of white Bottega Veneta’s ivory leather stretch sandal heals with gold chains that elegantly draped around the foot. Her blonde had, she had swept back into a messy bun which contrasted dramatically with the flamboyance of her outfit, but then that was Kitty; pretty but contrary.
Dusk had begun to settle by the time Kitty arrived at Leo’s home and met with the two delivery drivers. Despite having been given entry into his home before, Kitty decided to ring his doorbell and wait for him. Like an excited school girl, she fidgeted excitedly, almost vibrating with manic energy while three men stood behind; one her holding a crate of champagne and two holding a seven tier cake. Â
