now b4 the real festivities begin soon that being the one year anniversary rewatch for my everlasting and evergrowing teachers pet fixation i want to take the time to be real here for a moment and say that i still genuinely cant believe its been one year since this beloved series of mine that has started to mean sm to me in only several months time has easily grown to be not only one of the best fixations ive ever gotten that will no doubt last a lifetime for me going forward to the point where even thinking abt it and fixating on it even while fixated on other things is just as 24/7 regularly as fixating on pokemon 24/7 but one of the best things ive ever done in my entire life that became one of the many many things to have such a huge impact on me from its kickass story/lore/worldbuilding even in that of my awesome badass post canon to that of its super badass awesome unique mecore metaphorical af art and everything else abt it that is great and wonderful except for the untentional garbage that deserve to burn in hell but nonetheless the very thing has just as much of a crazy huge impact on me in so many ways just another extremely badass impactful crazy fixation of mine all those nearly 6 years ago did to me iykyk (wink wink 🙃) and more importantly THE very thing that gave me THE best character in ALL of EXISTENCE that being the legendary absolute superior living badass above all others and all that is glorious and brilliant abt him in all of his glory known as SCOTTY WOTTY LEADREADY THE MOTHERFUCKING II ELECTRIC BOOGALOO HELPERMEN who has easily become my most favored character/kin of all time in all of fiction all in just several months time for me with a whole new personal attachment to him that ive felt over my time watching the series for the first time last year that ive never felt b4 with any other character ive kinned in the past and even long b4 i started watching the series all those years ago back in 2016 b4 i knew everything else abt him that screams mecore to me in so many ways even from the very beginning i knew he sure af wasnt like any other character ive ever seen nor any other dog character at all to the point where he barely feels like one himself and him being blue and looking more freakish creature than the others in such a cool badass unique way just only solidfies that fact even more since blue is a rly awesome badass color and theres no denying it and not for the reasons u might be thinking bcuz in reality if u rly think abt it hes undeniably a living cosmological eldritch horror ailen dinosaur creature that craves knowledge and speculative biology like breakfast lunch dinner and desert 24/7 and not some pathetic lame ass human that nobody fucking cares abt since seeing his journey unfold to who he is now is one that always stands out to me where he learned the hard way of being one of both intellect and instinct and one of sentience and difference at the same time in his own unique way all to the point where he uses that very philosophy to make the world he lives in into what it is now with his 2 closest best frens lenora and ian by his side and that right there is a beautiful thing to be said in such a great story like that that has largely mean sm to me and impacted me on such a scale sm

even on a personal relatable lvl teachers pet has grown to mean sm to me from the 3 main characters and adele that ive come to know and luv and everything else abt it that ended up being one of the most extremely relatable things ive ever seen in all of fiction everywhere and the overall message this series brings to never stop fighting for what truly means most to u to never lose sight of who u truly are and to never give up fighting for whats right for a better future is just fucking glorious all around

i hope that for the rest of this year and beyond ill be able to maybe bring up more of my post canon stuff when i work up the courage to do so and to most certainly give u all lots and lots of teachers pet content all year long as best as i can especially with this years september 9th coming up soon even if its not the 25th anymore im still making a whole bunch of content even as smth as small as art for all of u to enjoy regardless all in an effort to make this wonderful fandom that i luv and genuinely the only one im willing to spare just for actually being so awesome THE best there is than every other f**d** in existence with ABSOLUTELY no ridiculous bullshit in sight whatsoever and ABSOLUTELY no problematic crap at all by any means neccessary one that is more fully dedicated to everything great abt the series we actually wholeheartedly luv and cherish sm than all the other lame f**d**s in existence that cant compare to our magnificence one bit >:333333

id also like to take the time to thank my dear teachers pet mutual that has meant a lot to me in general over time for being there to listen to my crazy ass bullshit abt the series i wholeheartedly luv and cherish sm just as u do and for being the best mutual ive ever had that are there for me when i need them most and the most fun person ive ever talked to in my whole life

now with that being said heres how this years festivities are gonna go:

thruout the day there will not only be several tp related posts from me be it textposts art shitposts etc but also a huge rewatch marathon from me thruout the next few days from today april 16th to april 23rd like how it went originally for me on my first watch one year ago as said b4 at the start of this post to celebrate my one year anniversary of being a diehard teachers pet fan and scott leadready II helpermen kinnie and adele kinnie thru and thru

how its going to go is that starting around 2:30pm ish soon i will rewatch 5 episodes 2day and 5 more episodes after that per day rinse and repeat up until the final day where i will get thru the last few episodes and the movie on the exact same day and while im doing that i will provide new commentary on things that my brain has conjured up over the last several months that i cant wait to bring up when i get to any specific moment in the series (or rly just any moment from the series i could think of in general lol) and most of the time with a screenshot next to it with at any point im in of either any of the episodes or the movie for some further context and stuff or whatever and this is no doubt gonna be the most fun teachers pet rewatch im gonna have yet more fun than that of the second watch of the series i did months ago especially with all of the new stuff ive learned over time even from my own crazy ass imagination of mine that i cant wait for u all to see when we get there :P

(day 8) april 23rd: episodes 36 - 39 and movie afterwards that im so looking forward and not looking foward to watching again at the same time :D/:( but rest assured u will still see me take jabs at the things in that movie that i despise the most as many times as i want no matter what any1 says 🙃

since its gonna be trans visibity day in a few days from now i feel like i wanna say smth

normally i dont do anything for that day since im not trans myself and typically have no business in being involved in such but bcuz a certain special interest of mine and a certain somebody by the name of scotty wotty leadready II scottlectric boogaloo helpermen has been lurking within my head for nearly a year now which is crazy to think abt i figured now would be a good time to get this out of the way and finally talk abt smth that ive been wanting to talk abt for a while

it never occured to me until after watching the series for the first time and seeing old teachers pet fandom tumblr posts from 2018 that convinced me so at the time that leonard is actually so extremely canonically transfem coded than what i had originally thought b4hand upon my first viewing

to better explain what i mean by this theres been several hints throughout the series where leonard is not only intentionally depicted in several (or at least once in just the first episode i cant remember i dont keep track of the paintings that much so i apologize) paintings from within the helpermen household as a girl

but also that one scene in all abt eavesdropping (ignore the og poster being defensive towards movie!leonard bit that post is from years ago anyways and we wholeheartedly support movie!leonard and m**ly m**ning slander on this blog all the way :3) when leonard showed interest in wanting to go to leslies bday slumber party only to immediately be asked by every1 but scott if leonard was a girl and his response to that question is him not only blushing in embarrasment to it and clearly not being 100% in denial abt it by not saying no to it at all but also saying he just wants to know what girls think to top it all off with the many times that hes taken interest in leslie not bcuz he "likes/loves" her as ill explain later on but also bcuz to en extent even when he didnt realized it the first time he wanted to BE her or better yet he wanted to be a girl and know what its like to be one even when it didnt occured to him the first time around until much later

now with all of the canonical evidence behind this in mind given its importance to the overall plot of the series and especially in regards to everything related to teachers pet post canon in general i hereby decree that as a fandom we call transfem!leonard lenora helpermen as her new name from here on out and u might be wondering and asking urself "why this name in particular?" and the following reasons as to why i wanted to go with a name like that for her are listed below:

● 1: obligatory pokemon reference that i couldnt resist making to the normal type gym leader from the first pokemon black and white games of the same name

● 2: leonard/lenora being extremely normal and fairy type coded in general if u rly think abt it

and ● 3: both names sounding similar to one another ik its not the case for every indvidual in particular but i wanted to go with a similar one to leonard anyways since i feel not much name change is neccessary for this case in particular and both names already sound cool anyways even if ones more relevant than the other for the long run

so from here on out whenever i talk abt leonard b4 his transitioning from within series material i use his name and pronouns while still acknowledging all the hints and nudges that lead to him eventually transitioning as lenora and whenever i talk abt lenora after that point i use her name and pronouns all the time but its also very important for us the teachers pet fandom to acknowledge both versions of the same character as important even if lenoras more relevant plot wise and not treat one of them like shit for no reason bcuz im well aware that the hs f**d** and even freaking h*cu has a bad habit of doing that crap towards john on more than one occasion even if i dont mind june or any other gender headcanon for john but i dont want any of that shit happening around here either since we dont support those jerks one bit for being the absolute nostalgiabaity aph0b1c disgusting unoriginal talentless hacks wastes of space pieces of shits they are but im grateful that at least here much like scotts with him being transspecies case it was intentional and written well from day 1 not unlike homestucks case with john where its just a popular headcanon milked to death so many times to the point where they will literally attack u if u even dare see john as anything but transfem and i honestly feel its important to make all of that clear to make this fandom better than every other f**d** in existence

anyways back to what i was saying the more i think abt it the more i realize that lenora and leslie werent meant to be a thing nor together to begin with bcuz of the scenario of childhood crushes come and go and this case in particular for lenora is no exception when she starts treating leslie as a normal friend as she began to show less romantic interest in her over time as a sign of maturity but undeniably the sole reason why lenoras trans to begin with among all the other reasons and eventually realizes who her actual childhood crush was all this time none other than ian freaking wazelelewski himself and plot wise is a much more interesting pairing than her and leslie when lenora and ian once they get to know each other more after the events of the rewritten movie that they have a lot more in common with each other than lenora previously thought as the 2 of them are 2 losers who are actually cool no matter what any1 says madly in love and lenorian is just a rly beautiful thing to see and come to understand more and more with each new thought of it that comes to my mind honestly

yeah ive been wanting to come out and say this for quite a while now bcuz of how important lenora and ian are for the series overall and beyond alongside scotty wotty himself aka me :3
