Brick 🧱 is the prompt for #inktober52 week 3. . When l I received @lennon_tool_bar Taiwan Tea Collection Sun Moon Lake Black tea, I instantly inked it up into my Stipula Brunelleschi Terra di Siena. Plus I had Diamine Nutcracker in my @Kasamaph. So together they were perfect to recreate the texture of bricks. As for the cement, I went with @colorverse.ink Matter in my WingSung 618. . The notebook is my A6 TR art book custom made for me by @flyght_of_fantasy_studio. . It was very relaxing to draw this last night... I look forward to the next prompt. 🇫🇷 Lennon Tool Bar • 滬尾 Huwei : est une encre inspirée par l’eau. Huwei est censé être le nom anciennement donnée en taïwanais à l’eau douce. L’inspiration pour l’encre est en fait l’eau de la rivière étincelante sous le soleil couchant, qui rappelle les écailles d’un dragon bleu. J’apprécie beaucoup les encres de la petite maison taïwanaise Lennon Tool Bar car elles sont belles, douces, et puisent leurs inspiration dans de petits fragments de la vie quotidienne et les traditions de leur pays. Hier, j’ai pris 5 minutes pour faire un petit dessin d’un bouteille d’eau. J’espère que malgré ma maladresse de débutante, le dessin permet d’admirer la profondeur de cette encre. 💙 . 🇪🇺Lennon Tool Bar • 滬尾 Huwei: is an ink inspired by water. Huwei is the ancient name for fresh water. The ink is in fact inspired by the shimmer of the river under the setting sun, which resembles the scales of a blue dragon. I really appreciate the lovely inks made by the small Taiwanese boutique ink brand Lennon Tool Bar because they are pretty, kind on pens, and inspired by fragments of everyday life and traditions in their country. Yesterday, I took 5 minutes to make a little drawing of a water bottle. I hope that, despite my lack of technique, the drawing shows the depth of this ink. 💙 . Son nom et sa couleur s’inspire d’une technique de teinture à l’indigo où une touche de jaune est apportée par l’ajout de peaux d’oignon à la bassine. Le résultat est un sarcelle léger et gai comme celui de l’encre. J’apprécie beaucoup les encres de la petite maison taïwanaise Lennon Tool Bar car elles sont belles, douces, et puisent leurs inspiration dans de petits fragments de la vie quotidienne et les traditions de leur pays. Inspired by indigo dye techniques, the color known as “light onion” in mandarin gets its name from the addition of a touch of yellow to the indigo batch by adding some onion skins. The result is a light teal-ish blue as show in the ink.
