since you didn’t request an expression i assume you meant her in her armor, which was fun bc I haven’t drawn her in it yet!! :O I adore this palette btw, I hope you like how miss chromedome turned out!! <3

1 - Her armor is made of the metal of General Brendol Hux’s spaceship. It resists EVERYTHING, including fire.

2 - As the whole ship was being destroyed at that moment, there could be something bellow the fire for her to fall upon. You can’t say she fell in nowhere because we don’t know if there was something there or not.

3 - She has experience on escaping situations where the odds are against her. Let’s remember how she escaped Starkiller base while it was exploding in her comics.

4 - Who’s left on the First Order if she dies? Kylo Ren and Hux can’t rule it together, since they pretty much want to kill each other. If Hux is going to take Kylo down after discovering he killed Snoke (which most fans believe will happen), who will help him if not Phasma? She’s helped him killing his father already. And if Kylo is going to take Hux out of the way, who will help him rule the First Order after that?

5 - She can both stay in the First Order of betray it, the two things would create an interesting plot for Episode IX. In her novel, chapter 13, page 95, there’s a line that says “she’ll one day betray the First Order like she betrayed everything else she’s ever professed to love”. Considering that Star Wars books generally give clues on what will happen in the movies, this line may be prophetic.

6 - She’s the most important woman in the First Order, and there are not many more as far as we’ve seen. Also, she’s the first female villain we see in Star Wars movies. Killing precisely her would be stupid, don’t you think?

7 - There are infinite references they can make to her novel in the movies, related to other characters we don’t know much about, like Armitage Hux himself, and the beginning of the First Order, which we still know only briefly. That would be something fans would like to see in Episode IX.

8 - Why would they choose Gwendoline Christie to play Phasma if she wasn’t planned to have a minimally important role in at least one of the three movies? If she would just be there saying only short lines behind an armor ans die soon after, they could have chosen anyone, and it would be probably cheaper. If they chose her, it can only mean one thing: she’s going to be important, even if only in Episode IX. They always keep the best for last, right?

9 - If they were really going to kill her, they’d have kept the alternate/deleted scene, because there we can see more of her and of Finn. Yet, they changed it for something a way quicker, in which we barely see her talking, much less the fear in her eye, other troopers discovering what she did on Starkiller base... This probably means we are going to see all of that later on.

As a priness Phel knew that she would likely end up in an arranged marriage. She was prepared for that but not for how much she would stick out in her new home. Her scales of emeralds, limes, and teals were in stark contrast to the warm tones of the other mers. With a deep breath she looked up at her betrothed and took in the other woman’s features. Phasma was very beautiful with her strong form and and sharp eyes. Honestly Ophelia was much smaller than Phasma and it made her a little nervous but she could see her partner’s strength.

Tarkin: Tarkin REFUSES to get a tattoo, but if he had to, then it would have the date of when the Death Star blew up Alderaan on his forearm

Krennic: he has a tattoo of the Death Star on his left leg.

Hux: Hux has a maneki neko tattoo because of his fur baby Millicent, as well as the first bars of a jazz melody he likes playing.

Phasma: Phasma has a First Order symbol on her arm, and below it is a pin-up mermaid with a banner that says “Parnassos” on it. She also has a scale pattern on her leg with some shells, as well as an Art Deco design on her lower back.

Yularen: Yularen decides not to get tattoos, but if he did, it would be a simple leaf design.

Thrawn: Thrawn’s tattoos are small details of famous artworks: Guernica, the Starry Night, The Kiss

Eli: Eli refuses to get a tattoo because he’s not fond of needles. Phasma doodles a geometric design on his hands with a ballpoint pen instead.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

Even if they snore like a poorly wired AT-AT. (Millicent doesn’t mind, the traitor. Probably thinks Supreme Leader is very warm and always purrs very loudly when she snuggles up to him.) And these pyjamas? An affront, an insult, how dare Ren make him face his biggest failure every time he’s to sleep, and the little Death Stars among them, reducing the glory of the former Empire to such mundane pattern?

Ren meant well, probably. Mostly.

Oh my GOD it would be so gorgeous! Phasma would likely feel a bit uncomfortable in the lingerie at first - she’s spent her whole life in either thick leather armor of Parnassos or stormtrooper armor and shielding her face with a warrior’s mask or helmet - but I think she would experience something entirely different and unique about wearing lingerie. She would likely only wear it for a partner, and it would have to be a woman she was very, very comfortable and trusting of since her guard is so high, and I think it would be a deeply personal and vulnerable thing for her... making it all the more gorgeous. 

Plus a vintage style lingerie would look especially stunning on her tall, muscular frame and there’d be a unique beauty to the contrast of this fierce warrior wearing something so feminine.
