The moment I saw that gorgeous kimono looking fit on lestat I thought of your fic like sometimes stars do align with your fics lol. Also, can you believe that Louis owns 45% of lestat merchandise like what does that mean is he sponsoring lestat or owns a share of something idk anything about this but louis desire to watch over and own lestat is so him. His possessive in a subtle way that you might miss if your not paying attention that lawyer scene revealed so much of what louis has been up to while lestat was building his career there is not a day that he didn't think about lestat his been watching him and finding ways to tie lestat to him. The lawyer is actually so insignificant because he refuses to consider him as a companion and makes sure lestat knows it's just sex his both trying to look smug like he is above everything and shows how much he yearns and wants lestat but can't help but be an asshole about it.

But god, Louis owning almost half of Lestat's band's merch is a lot, and very fun to me specifically, haha. That could be private investment, it could be affiliate company ownership (i.e manufacturers), or stakes in whatever label Lestat's signed them to, and honestly, they're all situations I'm like, kicking my feet over, haha. Louis caring/loving/wanting enough to insinuate himself back into Lestat's life generally is deeply compelling, but doing it in a way where he can manufacture power to try and both catch and control speaks volumes in ways that I think are so exciting for their dynamic.
I actually don't think either Lemuel or Christine are insignificant either! As I've said before, they're minor/supporting characters designed to reveal things about the lead characters and dynamics, and I think they're both really fun foils in that sense. I'm three minutes away from writing fic about them getting drunk together and bitching about Lestat and Louis, hahaha. They deserve to drag both of them!
