     Silk sheets are wrinkled against Yagura’s bare back; he grasps at them above his head, to his side, anywhere his hands can reach. They are nothing between his fingers, they are cool to the touch and soft against his palm and still he thinks to himself that he’s going to have to make their bed again.

     Utakata’s hair is slick with sweat and Yagura loves how golden eyes shine like suns at him like this. A moan grows at the back of his throat, his thighs tremble. He pulls his lover closer and deeper with his heels and he gasps like he’d been keeping it hidden in the silk that covers them. ❝Uta--❞ He’s cut short with kisses and nips to his throat, as exposed and waiting as it is Utakata can feel the vibrations of every shuddered breath. Yagura’s eyes flutter.

     He can hear the hum of satisfaction rumble in Utakata’s chest. Thumbs trace his ribs and all their scars, down to the dip of his hips where small circles are rubbed. He’s warm; he’s flushed on his cheeks and his shoulders. Utakata continues to place his lips up Yagura’s neck and licks where his pulse beats. Yagura holds a fistful of silk to his mouth and moans into it. The tail end is loud without a barrier when his wrist is held down against their bed.
