Every once in a while, I will hear some bands that makes me internally scream "hell yasssss" and Olympic Ayres' newest EP Leisureplex got me to scream those two words. My two favorite tracks are "Take Flight" and "Say My Name" because they are extremely reminiscent of this electro band I used to listen to called Estate. There's just a hint of that classy 80s electronic pumped up vibe on "Say My Name" that makes me want to put on some roller blades and roll away from my responsibilities - and I'm terrible at rollerblading. "We Can't Get Away" sounds like an extremely intense disco song with super cool flashing, strobe lights going crazy. Two thumbs up from me on this electropop EP.
