Team MZ had finished visiting AZ's grave. Between the rebuilding of the town and AZ's death, this was the first time that the group had finally been together in some time. It was a pretty somber note to group up on — collectively gathering and saying their final goodbyes, but it was still humbling to be together and know that they all were thinking the same thing.
Right before everyone left the graveyard, however, Tor turned around and looked directly at AZ's gravestone.
"Thank you... for everything, Mister AZ. I hope you... find peace and a better place like Hyde." Tor took out her Soul Dew and resonated with it, Mega Evolving right there. She then bowed and turned back to join her friends.
With the group gone, someone finally made herself known in the graveyard. Leifi walked over to the grave herself and put down some flowers that she's collected. "Here, old man." Leifi stood in silence. This wasn't even her AZ. She didn't really know him, nor did she try to interact with him this whole time. Yet, why does she feel so bad? AZ did everything that he worked for to atone for what he had done, and now was his time to rest in peace. Yet, still a part of her had a little bit of grief and guilt... for a human, no less....
Leifi sighed. "You... have taught Tor more in a few months than I could have in years. She's felt like this world was her home for a while, but seeing her as if she were native here... well, I don't have anyone to thank but you, I guess. You were... pretty okay... for a human, anyway. You deserve the rest. Please, leave the rest to us."
Leifi turned around and shifted form before disappearing on her own.
