i love the way @rachelambre took a character that was dead before the game(s) began and decided, no, you know what, this character deserves a second chance at life. and then breathed life into her and continues to do so day after day.
rachel is such a complex, beautiful, fully realized character. i love reading about all the shenanigans she gets up to. i love reading about her in all the different verses. i love all the dynamics between rachel and my muses.
ditto for @leiasversion because all of the muses on that blog just fit to a t and i love everything we've written together so far.
Kidnapping. Add that to the list of felonies that Hope is slowly racking up the longer that she lives. But it wasn't premeditated by any means. It all started out with rescuing a sweet little thing from a vampire. Only to realize that the face that the other wore was her own. The other seemed less of a threat & more someone who needed protection. Hope was not cruel in her kidnapping. She had explained the night before that Riley wasn't allowed to leave the mansion ( not that she could with people guarding the mansion ) but was free to use anything in the home. Hope had even gotten her a fresh set of pajamas before leaving Riley the night before to explore the mansion. She had told someone to get Riley set up, otherwise in the bedroom of her choosing. It was likely Orla, the house manager, that had dealt with that.
In the morning, Hope had skipped breakfast in favor of coffee in the living room after her run & shower. She figured that eventually Riley would emerge from her room wanting breakfast & at that time, Hope would either have a chef make it or they would DoorDash something. She was curled up on the couch watching an episode of CUTTHROAT KITCHEN when she heard footsteps that weren't the same pattern as anyone she knew. Ah, @leiasversion is awake awake.
But Hope doesn't shift from her position, covered up in a pink throw. The tribrid was dressed in a fresh set of pajamas, signaling that she had no plans on leaving the house for the day. Her cat, Valkyrie, was curled up on the back of the couch near Hope's head. Hope's legs stretched out on the white couch, her elbow resting on the armrest as she held her head in her hands. This is going to be a long day. Hope picked up the remote resting on her hip &turned the volume down to level 4 as footsteps drew closer. ❝Mornin'.❞ Hope calls out. ❝In the living room.❞ Her coffee cup sat on the glass coffee table, half-finished.

blinking momentarily, logan turned to face jj. brows are pulled together. he wish he could remember exactly the time jj was apologizing but honestly, he does not. growing up was rocky. between his mother leaving, his father giving up, and his older brother frank having to be the parent for him while his father loaded up on liquor like it was his only life line. memories like that are few and far in between.
