rn phoebe tonkin fc’s have sort of taken over nina dobrev fc’s bad repuation for forcing ships with paul wesley fc’s imo

one very bad instance i remember took place way before phoebe starred in the originals and got very popular. i don’t remember much about the character but the player would constantly force people into starting threads with them. 

they didn’t write very good starters so no one would respond, and when they didn’t get notes they would just lurk on the dash to see who was on, then make a post directed towards that character and basically ambush them into a thread. and they did this without even messaging the person first. like people clearly didn’t want to write with them, and instead of just messaging people for plots or whatever they would just start a thread without any warning?? 

it doesn’t sound that bad when i say it now but it made us all so uncomfortable at the time because they’d do it RIGHT after another person posted something on the dash, so it’s like you couldn’t play the whole “i didn’t see the post” excuse and were forced into the thread without any say. it just got to the point where no one got on the dash whenever the phoebe player was on the dash
