Chapter 4 Summary:
He's awful at this. He's so bad at this. It’s actually kind of charming. “Why are you so invested in my social life?” he asks. She’s quiet for a long, long moment. He’d asked that the other day, too, but this is less defensive, a bit more earnest, and she hums in thought as she considers her answer. Why is she so invested in his social life? “Doesn’t everybody want just one friend?” she eventually asks softly.
This story simultaneously breaks my heart and makes it burst every time I read it. I'm so glad there are "?" chapters to go because I legit never want it to end. Thank you @legends-shorts for fabulous update!
