At first she couldn’t believe that he was actually doing some office word; a few days ago she heard about his skills with machinery and vehicles, and dying of curiosity there was only once chance to finally get to meet him, because in reality, his field of work was way far from hers.

But, as expected, the Agent’s reaction didn’t go very well, at least for her. Why would someone stare at her uniform for so long? Was there something wrong? Was it weird? Then she realized it. Her face turned as red as the eye shadow she was wearing, and even though she tried to maintain a firm, steady tone of voice, it was impossible to feel embarrassed.

❝S-sir! There’s-... there’s no reason to stare at my chest-❞ she stumbled, stepping back and crossing her arms, comfortless. 

Once he stood up, the height difference almost made her chuckle, but tightening her lips and dry gulping was her tactic to stay calm. A bold gaze pinned in his eyes, which seemed doubtful in front of her. A million of thoughts went through her head at that moment, but only one question; Was she not being taken seriously?

His words calmed her down a little bit. Now, showing a genuine smile, the Executive shyly stared down and clasped her hands behind her back. 

“All right. Show’s over, folks. Time to fuck off back to whatever holes y’all crawled out of.”

Kiwi didn't seem insulted, in fact she laughed a small bit” we do live near a volcano, however, the clothing is more function then you'd expect, the sweater s made of Camerupt fur, its natural heatproof and fire resistant, while it can get hot, it actually has relatively good airflow, and on top of that if your running around fire and ground type pokemon all day, its best not to have much-exposed skin otherwise you risk a lot of burns!”

Fingers delicately picked up the small card, curiosity overwhelming her as her eyes slowly read the straight and bold handwriting. With an increasing heartbeat, lips stretching and cheeks getting warm and red, Mel found herself buried in embarrassment and happiness at the same time. She knew what receiving something like that this day could mean, yet never knew it was going to be from the Agent.

All of this was unexpected, somehow. A certain insecurity, constantly in her head always makes her think that she doesn’t deserve a treat, not even a card or anything with positive meanings; she’s not worthy enough, she’s not--

Knowing Buson, Mel knew he really meant it, even if he didn’t say it in person. There are always little winks here and there that could scream his ‘interest’ in her, and this present was more than enough to let her know that there was, maybe, a possibility of something. Rarely was going to be time for them to talk about it, though.

There’s so much to think about. Probably those chocolates would help to clarify some thoughts and ideas, or at least to make them less of a burden.
