Hello,

My name is Damon Mackin. I am a 21 full time college student with a niche for seeing life through a different lens. That was a fancy way of saying I consider myself to be a photographer, but I felt like that was boring to say.

I used to use Tumblr back in my high school days, but I abandoned it for the other brain rotting social media platforms that became popular in my days (I sound like a 60 year old man).

With my new found love for photography, I’ve been looking for a social media outlet that will help me promote my art as a freelance photographer, as well as help welcome me to the large community of photographers out in the world.

Luckily a little voice in my head reminded me about Tumblr. Since recreating an account, I have got engulfed in the many blogs in the community and I questioned myself “Why did I ever stop using Tumblr?”.

The world may never know the answer to the question, hell I don’t even know the answer. But I’m back, and I’m planning on being here for a while. I hope to make a lot friends in the Tumblr community, not only to gain motivation for my art form, but to communicate with like minded people.

As of tomorrow I will start blogging some of my favorite photos I took in this 10 month photography adventure I’ve been on. I would love for any one who views my page to leave and type of feedback, may it be positive or negative. Feedback is what helps me grow as an artist.
