oh i loooove that romana and the others think leela speaks her mind even when she doesn't. i think the others see her as a total open book bc whether or not they admit it they think she's kind of simple. and they also mistake her honesty for openness but really when is she ever fully open with anyone about her inner thoughts?? she's open with romana, sometimes, but who else? she doesn't let anyone see her freak out over anything. makes annos leave the room before she cries about being blinded. even when she's suicidal she only admits the worst of it to andred's corpse.
