Review: Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener

 Name: Wonder Pore Freshener

 Brand: Etude House (Korean)

 Amount: 250ml or 500ml

·      Effectively cleans the inside and outside of pores with it’s special peppermint extract

·      Balances pH level in skin

·      7-in-1 Solution: Deep cleansing, sebum control, ph 4.5, tightening pores,  clear skin, giving elasticity and moisturizing

 Personal Review

 Container: Awesome. I love the huge size the cool dispenser at the top. Makes the product super easy and kind of fun to use.  

 Smell: Fresh- it doesn’t smell to strong just has a nice fresh and clean smell to it which I enjoy.

 Skin Types:

Oily- Great for skin prone to blackheads!

Dry- Not sure how this would affect really dry skin but the dry areas on my face enjoy it.

Combination- My combination skin loves it does amazing things for my awful blackheads.

Sensitive- Unknown, I do not have sensitive skin at all but if you have a blackhead problems try to get a sample because if your skin can handle it it’ll be great.

 Consistency: Watery- very nice and feels moisturizing.

 Application: Use the special dispenser lid and a cotton ball. Soak the cotton ball with product and swipe across your skin.

 Results: Absolutely love this product. It has changed my skin entirely. I no longer have more blackheads on my nose then skin.  

 Claims it delivers on:

Effectively cleans the inside and outside of pores with it’s special peppermint extract- I actually wasn’t aware it has peppermint in it but hey it does the job.

Balances pH level in skin- I don’t really understand how all this pH stuff works so I can’t accurately say if it does this.

7-in-1 Solution: Deep cleansing, sebum control, ph 4.5, tightening pores,  clear skin, giving elasticity and moisturizing- This solution in 7 in 1 for sure, I agree that is achieves all these things.

 Personal Review

 Container: It’s great I love the orange and the pump lid.    

 Smell: None

 Skin Types:

Oily- Not great, looks a little to greasy for my skin but from pervious use while overseas in much colder weather it worked much better. A good foundation for cold weather.  

Dry- I can’t decide if it was the primer or the foundation that made the dry areas of my skin look cakey, I am leaning more towards to primer since when I use this foundation previously it didn’t area as cakey in my dry areas.

Combination- This isn’t an awful foundation much like the primer it doesn’t do anything amazing to the oily or dry areas of my skin so I doubt I’ll use it regularly, except perhaps in winter.

Sensitive- Unknown, I don’t have sensitive skin so if your interested in trying this foundation check out the ingredients and purchase it if your confident it’ll be fine on your skin.  

 Consistency: The foundation doesn’t feel very nice at all, it feels very thick and ‘gloopy’ but it buffs into the skin surprisingly well.

 Coverage: Light to Medium

 Application: Although I typically use a brush using your hands for this foundation is the way to go. The heat from your hands really helps it to blend into your skin better then a brush does.

 Results: I am happy for winter to finally come so I can use this again but for any day hotter the 15 degrees I can’t use.

 Claims it delivers on:

Instant Anti-Fatigue- although I didn’t get this with my most recent use, when I used it overseas it did make my skin much brighter and I think I did look less tired.

Radiant Glow- I can’t decide if it gives me a nice dewy look or that just my oil shining through.

Natural Coverage- I don’t think this blends in quite well enough to be called natural.

Moisturizing Complex and Peptides to help maintain skin- I didn’t find it to be all that moisturizing and it certainly didn’t make my acne happy since it flared up after use.
