The sun was setting over Brooklyn, casting a warm glow on mateo and izzie's house ' they invited zoey cooper and logan for a.sleepover , Mateo, zoey , Logan, and Cooper were engaged in a heated debate about who was the best at dream crafting. Izzie, lounging on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, watched with amusement as the boys bickered.
“I’m telling you, my Z-Blob design is way cooler than your lame robot!” Mateo exclaimed, crossing his arms defiantly.
“Lame? My robot can fly and shoot lasers!” Logan shot back, his competitive spirit igniting. “You just made a glorified blob!”
Cooper, trying to mediate, added, “Guys, can we just agree that we all have our strengths? Besides, we need to focus on the Nightmare King, not each other.”
But Mateo and Logan were too far gone in their rivalry. “Let’s settle this once and for all,” Mateo proposed, a mischievous glint in his eye. “How about a tickle challenge?”
“A tickle challenge?” Logan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “What’s that?”
“Simple,” Mateo explained. “We take turns trying to make each other laugh by tickling. The last one standing wins!”
Izzie perked up, “I’m in! This sounds hilarious!”
Logan smirked, “You’re on. But just so you know, I’m not ticklish at all.”
“Yeah, right!” Mateo laughed. “Let’s see about that.”
They quickly set up a makeshift arena in the living room, with pillows scattered around for comfort. Izzie volunteered to be the judge, ready to declare the winner.
“Alright, who’s going first?” Izzie asked, grinning.
“I’ll go!” Mateo declared, pointing at Logan. “Prepare to be defeated!”
Logan sat down, bracing himself as Mateo approached with wiggling fingers. “You think you can make me laugh? Good luck!”
Mateo lunged, fingers dancing across Logan’s sides. To his surprise, Logan erupted into laughter almost immediately. “No! Stop! I’m ticklish!” he gasped between giggles.
“Ha! I knew it!” Mateo laughed, continuing his tickle attack until Logan finally managed to push him away, breathless and defeated.
“Okay, okay! You win this round!” Logan admitted, still chuckling.
Next up was Cooper, who confidently took his place. “You won’t get me that easily,” he said, smirking.
Mateo tried his best, but Cooper was surprisingly resilient. “Is that all you’ve got?” he teased, barely cracking a smile.
Frustrated, Mateo switched tactics and went for Cooper’s ribs. Cooper burst into laughter, squirming away. “Okay, okay! You got me!” he conceded, raising his hands in surrender.
With both Mateo and Logan having won a round, it was time for the final showdown. Logan and Mateo faced off, each determined to claim victory.
“May the best tickler win!” Mateo declared, launching at Logan once more.
The two engaged in a playful battle, laughter filling the room as they tickled each other mercilessly. Izzie cheered them on, her laughter infectious.
And then all 5 of them tickle each other
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of giggles and squirming, both boys collapsed onto the floor, panting and unable to continue. “I think we’re both winners,” Logan said, grinning.
“Agreed,” Mateo replied, still catching his breath. “But I’m definitely the best tickler!”
Izzie laughed, “You guys are ridiculous! But this was the best idea ever.”
As they lay there, the rivalry momentarily forgotten, the Dream Chasers realized that sometimes, laughter was the best way to strengthen their bonds. They might be rivals, but they were also friends, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them in the Dream World together.
