May I request some Jun-ho Lee and ler headcanons? ☕
This is my second time requesting headcanons I believe?? I'm not sure if giving a concept of how the headcanons would start would help since I've seen people requesting some like that.. But I could say that I feel that Jun-ho would be an interrogational ler??
IT'S A CURVE BALL but I feel like he'd be the type of ler to be like that, either to be playful and teasy, or to be serious and non-negotiable! :DD
Yes! Honestly it would depend on the time weather he was playful or serious (but when he's serious it's only feigned to make his lee squirm ofc)
Here are a few things that just popped into my head!!
(Btw these are detailed just a warning)
A lot of the Squid Game tkl fandom agrees that In-Ho was such an evil older brother and they often had tickle fights growing up but it always just ended up with Jun-Ho being wrecked because of the age and subsequent size difference.
In-Ho would honestly tickle his lil brother to pieces at every opportunity he got, (but always made sure to come up with an 'excuse'). For example, he would tickle his brother whenever he came to him in the middle of the night asking for comfort after a nightmare. Of course, In-Ho would say that he was being 'punished' for waking him up, but they both knew that he really just wanted to cheer his lil bro up and here those adorable giggles.
Eventually Jun-Ho realized that whenever he woke up his brother for comfort, he got tickled to bits (he was often pinned and his underarms were attacked while he was told not to laugh too loud as not to wake up their parents). However, he kept going to his brother's room in the middle of the night anyway....funny that
No but fr he would stand in his brother's doorway, knowing the tickles were coming and In-Ho would just be like "Come in" and as he stepped closer and closer he was already GRINNING in anticipation knowing perfectly well what was to come.
Similarly, the baby cop started tickle fights that he knew he couldn't win
And now to the present day....I feel like he is one of those people who was like, hysterically ticklish as a kid but than kinda grew out of it, except for keeping one or two spots, maybe his belly and underarms, and his knees to those dreaded squishes. But ofc those spots are exploited!
He had a few mates in the cop academy that would tease each other all the time and one of them found out that if you poke his belly he will SQUEAL so than they all started doing it to annoy him and hear his involuntary reaction
I can imagine that once Jun-Ho was meeting with a person above him in the cop higherarchy, (idk how this stuff works lol), and he was with one of his buddies. The authority figure was on one side of the desk and he and his friend were on the other. However, his friend decided to be a little shit and kept gently squeezing the boy's knees from under the table. Jun-Ho tried desperately to maintain his composure and knock his friends' hands off but couldn't help a few giggles escaping. Of course he explained it to his superior by saying he had the hiccups but he was internally fuming lmao.
However, his main ler is, of course, In-Ho.
Like, before the guy mysteriously disappeared, In-Ho and his brother would frequently meet up for chats. Just talking about work, politics, women, the usual. They often had these chats in either of the brother's apartments and not in public cause it was more intimate and they both have an absolutely wicked sense of humor that could NOT be heard by the ears of the general public. Of course, this privacy also allowed for some tomfoolery to ensue, and discussions would often end with In-Ho 'accidentally' scraping his brother's belly right before he left.
Of course the bastard always feigned innocence - "Sorry, my mistake, I forgot how ticklish you were".
And Jun-Ho would just melt and absolutely HATE his brother for this but love him at the same time.
He of course treasures these meetings with his brother - they are a nice distraction from everyday life.
My boy hasn't really been wrecked since he transitioned into the adult universe, but there have been times where In-Ho has taken it a bit beyond a quick scribble or poke. Like one time they were meeting in In-Ho's flat and Jun-Ho was complaining about this guy at the office who kept stealing his protein yogurt from the fridge that had his name on it, (he's a bit of a gym buff), and the only way In-Ho could stop his brother ranting was by poking his tummy. There was silence, and usually it would have ended there so Jun-Ho wasn't really excepting anything more. But than out of absolute nowhere his brother tackled him over and started wiggling his fingers all over his belly.
"Aww, has my brother still got a ticklish tummy? Even though he's a big, strong cop? For goodness sake, shouldn't you have outgrown this?"
And holy shit his laughter was so uncharacteristic - it was just a waterfall of high-pitched, bubbly giggles. The tickling only lasted a few seconds but still, my poor boy was so flustered.
That's unfortunately really the only time he's been tickled as an adult but, from that, we can deduce two things. Firstly, his laughter is high pitched and squeaky. Secondly, he bounces up and down while being tickled like a lil fish out of water.
Okay, so remember how I said that Jun-Ho never won a tickle fight with his brother as a kid? Well, this lucky guy did get a chance to 'attack' his big brother sometimes, but only when he let him. It was a fairly common occurrence for Jun-Ho to play cops when he was little, like wear a lil police outfit and pretend he was chasing criminals. Most often the criminals were stuffed animals but sometimes In-Ho, being the generous and caring older brother he was, joined in and agreed to play the miscreant. So Jun-Ho would chase his big brother around the house and, when he caught him, would happily declare that he was going to 'tickle jail' and just scribble his little fingers up and down his brother's sides and even on his neck. And In-Ho would just take it and not fight back - partly because squirming could hurt his little brother, and partly because he just loved seeing him happy.
Now remember that friend who embarrassed him in front of an authority figure? Well, after that incedent, his serious and ruthless ler side came out. Luckily, this friend had a pretty weak spot on his right side, and, when they were in a private room, Jun-Ho just pinned him against the wall and exploited that weakness RUTHLESSLY. Like he just had a deadpan stare and didn't even tease or respond to his friend's pleas. All he said was "this is what you get for embarrassing me like a jerk" (It was all in good fun ofc - he loved this friend and knew his limits).
So of course Jun-Ho always lost his tickle fights with In-Ho when they were kids because he was bigger and stronger...but than it got to the point where the age difference meant nothing size-wise. So of course Jun-Ho would extract his revenge on his older brother for every time he was tickled as a kid!
This was done less at their private meetings and more at family gatherings, so In-Ho could be embarrassed in front of all of his cousins lmao. Like, the two would playfully wreste each other for the best spot on the couch and than Jun-Ho would get the upper hand by digging his hands under the older man's arms and the SCREAMS he was able to provoke...
This was when his playful and teasy side came out. Like, the whole time he would be smiling toothily and cheesily and reminding In-Ho that the whole family could see him squealing like a little girl. Of course, this amused everybody.
Some examples of teases he would use on In-Ho - "Haha, your laughing so hard, this is priceless!" "I didn't know I was THAT funny" "That's what you get for taking my spot on the couch!" (There was a cousin's dog sitting next to said spot, so of course it was a spot worth fighting for).
Now, here's another random ass idea I came up with. Jun-Ho, teaching Gi-Hun better gun techniques that he learned at the academy in that three year period between the two seasons. Jun-Ho stood behind him and helped him angle the gun towards a target and asked if he could place a hand on Gi-Hun's back to help him get his form right. So the cop put used hand to steady Gi-Hun's back and he put the other on his side to help him point in the right direction. When Gi-Hun made the perfect shot, Jun-Ho celebrated by jumping in the air and clenching his fists a bit in excitement. Of course, this movement was too much for the outrageously sensitive former winner, and he had squealed and snapped his arm down to block the cop's hand. Jun-Ho was confused, but than it hit him, and he smirked at Gi-Hun with realization. It ignited a playful mood in him that he hadn't experienced in a while. Gi-Hun was obviously embarrassed as anything and, thankfully for him, Jun-Ho never used this weakness against him after that. Still, that short interaction marked the transition in their relationship between just people working toward a common goal and friends who could have a little laugh at each other's expense.
Okay I'm gonna share one bonus HC that isn't tickle related because why not - Jun-Ho has a fictional crush on Rosa from Brooklyn 99 (he watched it on Netflix). Spread the word!
Hope you liked these little head cannons/unnecessarily detailed ideas! (:
