“i have actually!” yongmi exclaimed, “they’re really cool, especially aki, i think she’s really pretty.”

“is she your bias? my bias is either chloe or jiah!” elizabeth replied with bright eyes, i” really like bree too, i just don’t know her that well yet, i think i’m just gravitating towards the american members. does that say something about me-?”

“slow down!” yongmi laughed, “didn’t you go to one of their concerts one time?”

“i did!” elizabeth answered, still as enthusiastic, “that was SO cool. seeing them live was AMAZING. anyways, who’s sunlite?”

yongmi looked mildly offended.

“what?”

she sighed, “so remember that old group, honey bunch?”

“...yeah? what about them?”

“that’s the group that eden and mila redebuted in,” yongmi told elizabeth in a slightly hushed tone.

it took her a second, but soon elizabeth exclaimed, “OOH! RIGHT! from that survival show- the dollhouse! i remember you watching that on tv.”

“i cried when jiali got eliminated,” yongmi confessed, “but there’s no way you didn’t hear me blasting thumbs up on repeat yesterday. you’d better listen to it.”

“yeah, i’ll get around to it,” elizabeth replied, “i gotta learn more nugu groups.”

“yes, yes you do.”

[ solar — 23 : 45 ] “you did end up watching a bit of the dollhouse with me, right?” yongmi asked, and elizabeth looked up at her.

“i think so?” she answered.

“okay, so remember jeon nayeon? the first girl that got eliminated?”

“...no,” elizabeth answered honestly.

“well-“ yongmi sighed, “okay, well she’s a solo artist now, barbie, does that ring a bell?”

elizabeth gasped, “OH! BARBIE! she’s the one under kq, right? the one that did a song with finn from deepdive!”

“yeah!” yongmi nodded, “i’m surprised you know deepdive honestly. i’ll bet you only know that because ateez is also under kq, but anyways-“

“...yeah. ANYWAYS, her music is so cute, she’s so cute,” yongmi gushed, “you gotta listen to her-“

“i do!” elizabeth said defensively.

she paused, “uh... isn’t the title track just called barbie or something?”

“...i’ll give you that one.”

[ eri + leda + beth — 14 : 40 ] “i think this question would be better suited to ask my mom or something,” yongmi giggled, looking to the other two girls in hope that they’d answer first.

“recently? the nicest thing i did was buy takeout for everyone,” yeonwoo said, “and no one even thanked me for it.”

“i did!” yongmi exclaimed, “there, that’s my nice thing.”

elizabeth thought for a second, then promptly shook her head, “i’ve got nothing. maybe nice just isn’t in my vocabulary.”

“...you said my hair looked nice yesterday?” yongmi said.

elizabeth laughed, “you looked like you were trying real hard to think of something.”

“we forgot something cute,” yeonwoo said, and then continued, “actually, we can do without cute you guys aren’t that cute.”

“hey-!”

“let’s move on!” yeonwoo yelled, jumping in front of yongmi.”

[ eri + leda + beth — 14 : 47 ] “answer by ateez!” elizabeth immediately answered, “it’s their best title track and you can fight me on that. it’s so good.”

“right now i’ve been listening to a lot of twice,” yongmi said with significantly less enthusiasm than elizabeth’s outburst, “i don’t think i’ll ever get tired of one in a million. it’s such a pretty song, i love it.”

“i think-“

“oh yeah! a song i hate!” elizabeth exclaimed, cutting off yeonwoo, “that old town road song, including all of the remixes. except the rm remix i wouldn’t dare disrespect him like that.”

yeonwoo waited for a second before she said anything. “...now that no ones gonna interrupt me, is it cheating to say one of our own songs? because flare, off our new album, always cheers me up.”

“flare is my favourite off our album,” yongmi replied, “i don’t wanna choose a least favourite song honestly. i’ll listen to literally anything.”

“weren’t you talking earlier about how much you despise that dance monkey song?” elizabeth asked.

“right!” yongmi clapped her hands, “they get that though, no one likes that song.”

“can i say one of our songs for least favourite again?” yeonwoo laughed, “because i’m sick of performing crush, like honestly. it gets old fast.”

“ooh, tea! our own songs that we don’t like, this is exciting,” elizabeth said excitedly, “i don’t like so far or les etoiles. ballads are boring.”

“i love ballads,” yongmi replied, sticking out her bottom lip in a fake pout.

[ leda — 23 : 33 ] “i wish i accepted myself sooner. not just in regards to how i like girls or whatever, just me as a person. i spent so many years insecure and unhappy, and i’m still super insecure, but it’s an improvement from how i was a year ago today. i hope i get better.”

[ leda — 23 : 35 ] “i so badly want to make my own music. i really hope i can help write or compose or produce a track on our next album, that would be so cool.”

26: would they ever spend an afternoon in a library? what section would they spend the most time in?

[ leda — 23 : 25 ] “definitely. i love libraries, they have the best vibes. i’d probably spend a pretty equal amount of time in each section, but i’m also a sucker for teen romance novels. when they aren’t way too heteronormative. we need more gay teen romance novels seriously.”

45: who is their greatest confidant? who confides in them?

[ leda — 23 : 27 ] “i’d say it’s mostly elizabeth? i think it’s just because we share a room so we see each other way too much. we stay up late at night and just talk about the stupidest stuff sometimes.”

47: is their someone whose laugh makes them laugh as well?

[ leda — 23 : 28 ] “my own laugh makes me laugh because it’s so gross. but jihoon also has a really loud laugh that’s funny because it’s just so obnoxious.”
