[ beth — 16 : 27 ] “i think i’m pretty happy. i mean, i’ve never really heard otherwise. unless you mean like, optimistic, in that case fuck no. i’m literally the most pessimistic person you’ll ever meet, i complain a lot, it’s probably annoying. i guess something that makes me happy is performing, which, wow, fuckin’ obvious i’m a celebrity for a reason but hey. it’s fun. do i make people smile? hopefully. i’m funny i hope people laugh at some of my jokes at least.”

[ beth — 16 : 31 ] “i don’t usually think about that. i’m more of a like, i’m here for a good time kinda person, i guess. but y’know, the kinda stuff that everyone’s at least a little scared of, drowning, burning alive, being buried alive, yeah. also certain bugs for some reason, they freak me out. have you ever seen that really close up picture of that ant’s fact? yeah. also the only person i’ve ever been scared of is milo’s older sister. she’s short but i swear she could beat me up.”

“i cried when jiali got eliminated,” yongmi confessed, “but there’s no way you didn’t hear me blasting thumbs up on repeat yesterday. you’d better listen to it.”

“yeah, i’ll get around to it,” elizabeth replied, “i gotta learn more nugu groups.”

“right now i’ve been listening to a lot of twice,” yongmi said with significantly less enthusiasm than elizabeth’s outburst, “i don’t think i’ll ever get tired of one in a million. it’s such a pretty song, i love it.”

“oh yeah! a song i hate!” elizabeth exclaimed, cutting off yeonwoo, “that old town road song, including all of the remixes. except the rm remix i wouldn’t dare disrespect him like that.”

yeonwoo waited for a second before she said anything. “...now that no ones gonna interrupt me, is it cheating to say one of our own songs? because flare, off our new album, always cheers me up.”

“flare is my favourite off our album,” yongmi replied, “i don’t wanna choose a least favourite song honestly. i’ll listen to literally anything.”

“weren’t you talking earlier about how much you despise that dance monkey song?” elizabeth asked.

“right!” yongmi clapped her hands, “they get that though, no one likes that song.”

“can i say one of our songs for least favourite again?” yeonwoo laughed, “because i’m sick of performing crush, like honestly. it gets old fast.”

“ooh, tea! our own songs that we don’t like, this is exciting,” elizabeth said excitedly, “i don’t like so far or les etoiles. ballads are boring.”

“i love ballads,” yongmi replied, sticking out her bottom lip in a fake pout.

“you know that boy group that’s debuting soon? i’m really excited to meet them. i’ve met maybe one or two of the boys before? don’t really get along with one of them. me and minjae both. although i’ve seen them around while they’re training, i haven’t really talked to them but,” she leans in slightly closer and covering her mouth to surpress a giggle, “one of them is really cute.”

“i don’t know his name, all i know is that he’s really tall and i think his hair is purple. he looks around my age, too.”

“i have a personality,” hyesoo snapped, “me and mj are ALWAYS the comic relief, give us some personality. also stop shipping me with min i would never.”

elizabeth shrugged, “it’s kinda hard for you to be intimidating. you’re so...”

“so... so what?” hyesoo asked.

“yknow,” beth continued, making a vague motion with her hands, “so... small. it’s hard to be intimidated by you when i could pick you up and sling you over my shoulder.”
