Here, at Starbucks; with my Bose QuietComfort II earbuds; putting an article together. So far, bits and pieces only. In fact, I have just got another idea for an essay. We sure made many, many new friends. We had a fashion icon CEO, a popular and influential Cosplayer, my classmate from school, his wife and their eldest son; and many, many collectors and hobbyists visit us at our booth.

At 6.00pm, our (Jeannie’s and my) two day adventure came to a close. From what started as a passing fancy a week ago about setting up a booth at the famous (here, I will use the word “famous” because it is) “flea market” in Amcorp Shopping Mall, to actually going through with it. And now, it is over. Our booth was in between the famous (Yes, used the “famous” word again, and again; it is valid)…

Jeannie took time to talk about and educate some people about batik, especially her batik cape pieces. Listening to "Men At Work" while writing this essay. ..come on over where we can meet...

Having reached Amcorp Shopping Mall early, Jeannie and I had to lug all our wares from the carpark to the third floor. We set up our booth, arranged all the things that we were putting up for sale. Then, waited. It wasn’t too long before Farid, our first visitor to our booth came along. We had a good nice chat, exchanged views and talked about the things that we put up for sale. Not long after…

At Amcorp Mall. Met with Farid just only. All the way from Kampung Bahru… Our first customer purchased 10 key-chains / keyholders which are over 40 years old. I hear she comes all the way from Ipoh every weekend to sell her tasty…
