The Feather Stitch Family is a cousin of the Blanket Stitch Family. While the stitches on the Blanket Stitch falls on one side, the stitches fall on either side in the Feather Stitch Family. It is a beautiful stitch to use for botanical patterns or in combination with other stitches and embellishments. The Crazy Quilters use this stitch in plenty in really creative ways!

You can apply this stitch on any pattern that can accommodate this technique. Use this pretty stitch on anything you want to pep up a bit. It is the perfect stitch to apply for a Christmas theme.
