#2: The tick between the ‘u’ and the ‘r’ in “you’re” isn’t a comma, it’s an apostrophe. A comma is at the bottom of a line, like a period with a tail. The apostrophe is at the top.
#3: In showing the possession of a noun, we use apostrophe + ‘s’, not apostrophe + ‘re’. We wouldn’t say, “That is Janet’re car.”
#4: The apostrophe in “you’re” indicates something missing, in this case a space and an ‘a’, to turn “you are” into the contraction “you’re”, which still has the original meaning of “you are”. Therefore, YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
