WIZARDS AND WITCHES AREN'T THE SAME THING! They never were! Haven't you guys never seen Folklore or Mythology? They might be a similar. But they are different. Witches powers come from mainly Nature. While Wizards get their powers from studying. But sometimes, they both can get their abilities if their families are filled with Witches or Wizards. Or one of their family members are Witches or Wizards. Or they were chosen.
Numer 2:
Wizards and Witches were never a gender thing! Will never be a gender thing! No! A Wizard isn't the boy version of a Witch. No! A Witch isn't the girl version of a Wizard.
Alright, class! Repeat after me!
Witches and Wizards aren't the same thing. And!
Anybody/Anyone can be a Witch regardless of the gender. Anybody/Anyone can be a Wizard regardless of the gender.
