I would just like to give you a bit of context on that UK weather post, and the disgustingly ignorant reactions people are having. People die during these heatwaves. The elderly die, children die, pets die. This is because we simply to not have the infrastructure to cope with extreme heat; not because we're weak. Just some food for thought.
I completely understand, I live on the border (in El Paso, right next to Juarez, Mexico) and so I’m pretty far south in the US, and during the last big freeze it wasn’t as bad as up north like in New York but man, it was really brutal to us just because we can’t cope with the temperature being that low, the city and homes aren’t made for it.
We all joke and say things to other countries but all jokes aside, it’s pretty dang serious
