Learning how to play New Mexico song by Johnny hobo on the harmonica right now, well we're at least trying.
Day 2. Operation: Head Over Feet
With the help and patience of my friend Jon, I got myself a simple diatonic harmonica (key of C) a few days ago. It was literally out of impulse caused by reading too much harmonica lessons online. They said it is best for beginners to use this kind of harmonica, so I went ahead and spent about $10 on it. Not too shabby.
You will notice the tone is quite different from my previous post. The harmonica is almost half as long as my previous one, which gives me a better grip. I like it better, actually. Seems like the chords are more easily played, and of course, it is possible to play one note at a time (which was impossible to do in my other harmonica).
But, as with all things, I still need more practice. I'm loving this though.
