“Doing unethical things to Wheatley in VR to learn about Unity Physics”
The latest installment in my Noob Game Dev adventures.
Dev Log about the time I kidnapped some Valve game characters and forced them to do science with me in VR using Unity. Then I murdered some Portal turrets with a big cannon full of Wheatleys. It was fun. Not very informative. But fun.
Just had a milestone kind of moment. Months ago, I wrote a c# script for something in Unity, and it took me like 2 days to get it working...
Today, I wrote a new script that did the same thing, only it was better organized, better optimized, and it took me only a few minutes. I didn't need to consult the docs for anything, and it just felt easy.
I'm loving programming, and I am proud of how far I have come.❤

Continuing to fail forward in Unity 3D for your amusement. I brought in some Team Fortress 2 boys this time. Learned about ragdoll physics, made some ragdoll torture devices with Pro Builder, and even did everything with C# instead of Playmaker this time!
