she’s just like me fr. like jake insists he’s just learning and he’s having fun, and ofc you trust him but that doesn’t mean you can’t be jealous. and how should you deal with jealousy? well, by teasing him of course.
he notices that you’re being wayyy more friendly with your scientist friends than usual, purposely dropping labs near them so you can bend over in front of them, “accidentally” brushing their hands when taking samples, stuff like that and it pisses jake OFF.
he doesn’t understand it at first but once it clicks he has a whole “ohhhhhh” moment.
you, of course, try to keep up with the bit cuz you wanna punish him even more but that doesn’t last long. jake wants you and only you, and he knows how to make that clear.
it slowly becomes a game of just teasing each other and obviously, jake will win. he’s gotta win you back over somehow, and what better way to do that than tease you and then later show you just how much he’s yours and your his?
