I made this based off wishlist by cats millionaire. kinda also inspired visually too by the art of princess luna in the original upload of the song, but also slightly inspired by how i used to over render and use a bunch of brushes, basically lock in in procreate in 2020-2021, bcs I used to listen to devis music a lot back then.I also just felt wishlist fit metal leafy so well given her circumstance, i mean it makes sense that it does since its about princess luna, and implies her lore abt when she was banished to the moon, her and leafy share that pain. I cant imagine how lonely and agonizing it must feel self isolating for so long in yoyleland. Constantly blaming yourself for past mistakes, feeling like youve been ostricized too harshly for said mistakes, but being stuck alone with your thoughts for too long is very detrimental to your mental state.you are your own worst critic and you end up gaslighting yourself into believing you deserved it anyway, feeling unable to change habits, so you self isolate to avoid hurting anyone again. Its a pain I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. Its a pain i cant even fathom.
