I WAS HOPING FOR THIS ONE... i doubled back and got SO excited to wake up to this. so! yes, i do associate our system with colors! a lot of colors, actually. you guys get a system name reveal, too, since i've been just... exclusively talking about us in a vague context and all outside of posts just about me.
we're the partygoers! our former host had picked the name for the system when we had been with an ex system friend. we've loved party themed things for a while, especially rave related things.
i bet you're telling me right now, "leaf, that's crazy! tell me more about your naming process,"
and i will eventually! just not in this post. anyway! my bad on getting a little side tracked with that one, but... since i associate the system with so many colors, i'll be using exact tones and explaining each color in detail. some of them are just favorite colors, some of them are just overall conceptualized colors for different things that hold significant value to the system as a whole.
so, i think it's growing obvious i'm a total nerd for symbolism in colors, right? we're gonna go down the line of explaining each color and their singular symbolism first.
the color red typically is used to describe passion, romance, love, things of the like... or violence, danger, warnings, etc. there's a ton of symbolism with the color red itself, it just varies based on the context of what or where it's being used!
the color orange is used to describe things like warmth, comfort, youth, fun, and similar concepts. while it's not as in-depth or widely used like red is, i still particularly enjoy the color orange.
yellow is used to describe happiness! yellow's that super bright color that just brings a lot of joy and whimsy to a room. people usually associate it with excitement, too, and things of the sort.
i think people get the general concept of it, but here's the rest of them boiled down a bit shorter so i can actually continue on with the post. (i love colors to bits, and plants... but i think these were obvious.)
green is for harmony, safety, growth, and health. blue is for security, trust, loyalty, responsibility. purple is for spirituality, mystery, royalty, imagination. white is for innocence, purity, cleanliness, perfection. and so on so forth!
for our system specifically, i'd like to associate it with orange, green, and blue. that being said, it's more for the concepts of being warm and comforting from orange. blue for loyalty, we're always there for our friends and strangers whenever they need it. and green for growth, as we're always learning new things and growing along with our surroundings. adaptation is important with systems, i will say. it's part of what keeps all of us safe in different scenarios!
thank you so much for the ask, hope this was a decent read. :)
