One of the highlights for me at the Ladies That Lead tour was when Supermodel Beverly Johnson talked about how she told Eileen Ford ( Ford Models) that she had a goal to be on the cover of Vogue Magazine and Eileen said to her, "That would never happen". So she left and went to Wilhelmina Models and before you know she gets the call that she's on the cover of this world renowned magazine! Just hearing about her getting the call and running down to the magazine stand gave me goosebumps. This was such a historical moment for women of color!
