Shifting among the dispersed bodies of the opera goers, Mondego searched for Mercedes, who had stormed off because he allowed for Albert to wander around Paris. After being generally unsuccessful he resorted to mingling, picking out Vicomte de Chagny from the crowd. “Good evening Vicomte, I’m assuming you enjoyed the production just as much as everyone else.”
