We visited Tent London, near Brick Lane, during the design festival. There we found a small Lothlorien-esque corner that we simply couldn’t restist to be enchanted by. Sharon Marston has used willow canes intertwined with fiber optics, decorated with woven mesh petal forms, creating her “Willow installation”.

New Design Museum Stickyworld launch at #FREEDAY
It's official: on Sunday 22 September the Design Museum welcomed its largest number of visitors ever for #FREEDAY and the launch of its new Design Museum Stickyworld platform.
The site received 320 visits by off-site users taking the virtual tour on the day, and numbers are still growing.
Below are a few images of the day. A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time to join us and talk to visitors about the museum, its work and its future home in Kensington. And thanks to 3M for kindly providing the materials for the Post-It activity.
