       “Well well, hello there doll~! What a nice surprise, I don’t see too many Hylians out and about here!!” if anything, Opal could say she’s never seen a Hylian up here. And yet, here she is, met with a rather adorable Hylian girl. Blonde, gorgeous, and holding a rather... interesting stone tablet in her hands?? Was it even made of stone?

       “What brings you out here? You a traveler out looking for some adventure?” while the girl’s clothes seemed efficient for travel, they still seemed... rather formal. Incredibly nice, so Opal couldn’t help but be curious about this particular girl, “Lookin’ a little too good for such an endeavor, a bit too soft too. Someone as cute as you shouldn’t be traveling on her own, y’know! Never know when you’ll run into monsters; or worse. Creepy men.”

     “Was it normal for the Royal Family to know the families of their knights... ?”

     The question was posed softly, carefully, even as Link’s gaze rose to meet with that of his princess. She sat on the other side of the fire that crackled between them, blankets pulled over their shoulders so as to ward off whatever remained of the night’s chill. It was not the cold that was on Link’s mind, however, on this summer’s evening.

     No, the matter which plagued his thoughts had to do with the real question that his inquiry, the one that he hadn’t the courage to ask truthfully: did Zelda remember his family? Did Zelda remember his father, his mother, any siblings that he might have had a century ago? Did she know their faces, their names, if they had been living before the calamity had befallen?

             THERE IS a child sitting in the water, STARING at the Hylian princess. He didn’t know what she had spoken to his sister over, but Mipha’s words had worried the child and of course he was going to place ALL blame onto the one that had snatched his beloved sister’s attention. 

                                             may i ask ... do you really remember me ? 

I really do appreciate the association that you put in with both deafness and muteness because it does hold very true in our communities! I love the consideration you put into representing up properly and it’s why I adore you and your Link so very, very much. ♥♥

How about another shout-out for lcylines/sheikahminstrel/eudaiimonia? Such a good writer, such a nice mun, such a pleasure to know!

                   her       appointed      knight      gives     HIS  LIFE,                        shields     her     figure     &&     pays     the     price.                                              the  PRINCESS’S  LOVE  for  her  fallen  knight                        awakens    her    power    &&   within    the    castle                      the   Calamity  is  forced   to   COWER.                        

            THE SEAL HAD BEEN BROKEN. that was FIRST and FOREMOST in all of this - perhaps it would be a rather DEFINING MOMENT in NEO’S life; watching the princess slowly regain feeling and LIFE that she’d been near-devoid of for twenty years now. or so he’d heard, anyway. 

                  he had gone through years of training - swordsmanship, archery, climbing, riding - with the set goal for him to  ‘ defeat evil ‘.  his journey to complete these goals was only beginning. but in learning of the princess, sealed away to a cruel fate, he’d chosen instead to intervene with destiny and make an attempt to meet her BEFORE going after the darkness plaguing HYRULE.   ( perhaps she could provide valuable insight to the past. )
