“You look like a prince,” Ahreum says with a sweet smile on her lips, hands delicately fixing the collar of her son’s shirt. “I’m so glad you’re here, Rosie.”

"Don’t look so down, it’s a festival of love, yeah?” She was trying to fit in- trying to pretend like she was just another person looking for love, since she hadn’t brought a date or anything to the event. So she just hoping to find someone to dance with or hell, feed the ducks. She didn’t care what she did- she just wanted to enjoy the day. That’s all. It didn’t seem like too much to ask. So when someone else - also alone passed by and their expression was less than chipper, she thought maybe reaching out couldn’t hurt.

The resemblance was unmistakable, though she had never met the man himself personally.  A part of her was inclined to walk away, end the conversation before it began, but that would not only be rude, but also unfair.  He was not responsible for what his brother had done; he could be completely unlike his brother.  “Pardon me -- you’re Aksel Westergaard, are you not?”

     they’re lying in bed together, sheets tangled around their legs, the air quiet around them. jean knows tobias isn’t asleep, even if they haven’t spoken for a while now, he can feel his eyes glued to the side of his face. his own stares at the ceiling, so many words unspoken between them. now that the fight and the sex is over, the artist doesn’t know what to say.

    everything feels too unclear, and he is much too afraid to turn his head and look into tobias’ eyes. does he want him to leave when morning comes? is it another one night stand that means nothing? jean wants it to be anything but, yet he still doesn’t want to hold onto foolish hopes, convince himself into thinking he means something to the hatter. his heart is much too battered to take another rejection, and he feels at a limbo. the way tobias reacted to his disappearance, it has to mean something, right? or is he looking too much into it — thoughts swirl in his mind one after another and he closes his eyes briefly, trying to calm down the storm in his head.

Amadeus and Hansel were both holding against the tree. Neither of them had that much experience But he supposed they could try. Amadeus took a deep breath. 

“You just have to focus and go with the flow.” Amadeus said repeating what Remi told him once. He held out his hands before leading the other to the ice rink. It was almost working until he fell
