In a phase where drawing on paper feels really really good. Now if only i had things to draw.
Fashion? Maybe?
I stayed at a friends house over the weekend, and I did some doodles to wake up
I think I saw this outfit somewhere...

Some draws from yesterday while I was getting a history lesson about my family.
My great great grandfather was a chauffeur to a general in the war.
(one day I'll look up references for biker jackets before attempting to draw them, but not today.)
Eh. Just doin.
I've started trying to do a full page of sketches when I draw. I've never been great at shoving a lot onto a little page. I got that thing in my head always saying "no, leave this isolated. Finish it to the feet, make sure everything is there, and give it plenty of space so we can expand on it later!" Which I think honestly just makes everything slower. Need to get better at doing things I don't care about, which is really really against my nature.
Also trying to focus on silhouettes. I know I tend to like drawings that have a thicker outline than any internal line, but again I have trouble doing that without thinking "no, I should outline this too, so it stands out!" and then just winding up with uniform thick lines. So if I focus on readable silhouettes, then hopefully I'll feel that just the outline will make everything that i want to be readable readable.
I dunno. This page shows I have a lot to work on. Tho I bet a lot of it could be helped by working off references. But I stillll got that thing in my head that says "But you're already thinking of it! So you have it in your head! So you shouldn't need a reference!" And "should" can be a subtly harmful word.
