As the recent news of the “Girl with Balloon” half shredding itself clearly shows, Banksy is still probably the single biggest draw in the streetart world.  LAZ Inc had an exhibition on his years between 2002 and 2008 a little bit ago and so we headed down and checked it out.

First thing we noticed when we rocked up was this guy leaning out of the window.  For a second, I actually thought he was real!

The place wasn’t huge but they’d managed to get a lot of Banksy’s pieces in, including the iconic kissing policeman and the flower thrower.  There were a bunch of pieces that I’d not seen before which was pretty cool.

This piece was a little disturbing.

I really liked the copper background of this one print of the girl with the balloon.

The Flower Thrower - one of the first Banksy’s I saw many years ago and still one of my favourites.

Kids on Gun Hill, another one of Banksy’s better known works.  I’ve always liked the black and white prints with a splash of colour.

It was cool to see some of the non-stencil stuff from Banksy.
