it *might* have something to do with the fact that you were supposed to be able to have a special "friendship" option with him as scott before it got cut and maybe they got mixed up?? (i think i read that somewhere) or i might have that completely wrong but when he started asking in emails "is 'dearest' how you address someone you enjoy flirting with" or something to that effect i was like oh LORD...

i didn't get the email thankfully bc that would have been awk lol but his codex entry did update to say i had been flirting with him and i was like i've been what now lol on future pts with my canon ryder i’ll be avoiding the friend lines

the same thing happened to me and i was so confused??? it's a bit weird too since the "friendship" lines do genuinely sound like flirting sometimes... maybe they messed up the indicators or something!!

I’m fairly sure you can be every class with every race (besides dwarf mage, presumably). Those names just came from when they were doing a live gameplay vid at a con or something and they casually scrolled through a list of save files.
THAT'S A BIT UPLIFTING because i would really really really really want to play as qunari mage and they would really screw the game without giving us a full set of classes we can choose from. and i keep fingers crossed for dwarf mages. i hope your assumptions are going to be confirmed soon THANK YOU ANYWAY FOR GIVING ME HOPE
