SELEUSS - Meet Linda from Market Lavender at Pike Place Market
SELEUSS Chocolates: Please meet Linda from Market Lavender, located at the famous Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle.
https://www.facebook.com/pikeplacemarketlavender
Linda has been farming and selling lavender at the Pike Place Market for nearly 30 years! As a 3rd generation farmer, she has grown lavender on the same parcel of land where her Grandfather once raised vegetables many years ago.
SELEUSS Chocolates has been buying lavenders from Linda ever since its first batch of Wild Lavender Honey truffles almost 10 years ago! The love and care that Linda takes into growing and packing these delicate flowers is what truly sets her apart from other larger commercial operations around the area. You can simply tell by the rich vibrant colors in the lavender buds and the lack of stems in the tin jar that it comes in!! SELEUSS use Linda's lavenders both inside the ganache and as well as on the outside to decorate the dark chocolate truffle shell.
If you are in the Seattle area, be sure to go and say hi to Linda and her friends at the Pike Place Market: http://marketlavender.com/marketschedule.php and check out all their lavender products: http://marketlavender.com/shop.php
From Linda: http://marketlavender.com/about.php
I have been farming and selling lavender at the Pike Place Market for nearly 30 years. As a third generation farmer I am both proud and grateful to grow my lavender on the same parcel of land where my Grandfather once raised vegetables many years ago.
At Market Lavender, we have a passion for lavender and creating the very best products possible. We are constantly experimenting with ideas in order to offer new products to our customers. In contrast to many large commercial lavender farms in the area, we are a small local farm only 30 minutes from the Market.
As you probably know, the Pike Place Market is truly an icon of the Northwest. The experience of meeting and interacting with customers from all parts of the world is truly exhilarating and enlightening. Thank you for supporting our farm and be sure to stop by the next time you're in Seattle.
