It had been a ridiculously long day in The Dales, the scent of decay, and bodies littered everywhere one went. Fenris ran his blade through a reanimated corpse and withdrew it only to see the Inquisitor was hobbling around. He went to her side quickly and moved her arm over his shoulder for support, “Close the rift, then we’ll get you to camp.”
This was his fault, he left the group because of his temper, and for some unknown reason, she came looking for him. Olive eyes watched the rift close and he then sighed out trying to even out his breathing. Finally they shout over to her, “Why did you come out here looking for me, when I said I needed to be alone?”
He knew the likely answer of it, since it was dusk, and growing dark. Though elves are able to see in the dark better than humans, it was still not pure night vision. The elf helped the other to a nearby rock and sat her down, noting her weight was from more than injury, she looked so tired.
“Ellana...” his eyes shot up to her face as he knelt in front of her to look over her ankle, before they glanced back to her swollen ankle, “You’re exhausted still from all the battles, you should have stayed at camp.” he knew she could likely heal it herself, but he wanted to be sure that she was in fact okay.
