“Aww, Vinny! Honestly there’s no one else I’d want to teach me how to cook and listen to me ramble on for hours. One of these days we’re gonna be on a mission together and I’ll get to see for myself how amazing you claim it feels to be on a motorcycle with you. One day.”

Blinking a few times in disbelief, Eevee glanced between Vinny and the plastic fork in their hand a few times before rolling their eyes playfully. “And I’ll do it again, too, if you don’t focus.” Wiggling the fork at him, their free hand rested on their hip as their bottom lip poked out into a frown. Their stern facade didn’t last that long, though, before they burst out into genuine laughter.

“Seriously, Vinny,” they eventually managed to get out in between deep breaths. “You said you were going to teach me! But so far, all you’ve done is teased me!” They gestured to all the ingredients sprawled out on top of the counters. Honestly, Eevee hadn’t even heard of half of them, but apparently this dish was one of his favorites and meant something to him. “I’ll forewarn you again, just to be sure you’re completely aware, but whatever we make here today will be burnt and I apologize in advance.”
