Femslash February 2019 | Day 9: âUndead isnât dead-dead, which is what I thought you were, up until 20 minutes ago. So I donât care if I have to line my apartment walls with lead and get those Swedish sun-blocking curtains. Youâre staying in Star City, and youâre staying with me.â Laurel Lance, Laurel-Laurel, Our Laurel, has stepped out of the shadows with a minted pair of fangs and a taste for blood. Where has she been? How did this happen? Why is she just coming back now? Felicity will get to the bottom of it, but sheâs got to figure that out and protect anyone else from finding out that Laurelâs back- Including Laurelâs very own, reformed, actually pretty cool doppelganger. And hey, is it immoral to borrow blood from the hospital?
femslash february | day 5: (AU) laurel lance is an (arch) angel. she saved felicityâs life and accidentally fell in love with this soft pretty girl. but thereâs another laurel lance, and this one is a demon. she came to raise hell and fell for her dopplegangerâs human. felicity smoak is a jewish girl whoâs faith might be her key to figuring this whole thing out. this was probably not covered in the torah, but felicity did have a hard time staying focused back in hebrew school, so maybe it was? she really shouldâve studied her hebrew more
--
Laurel turns her gaze back to Felicity, cracking her neck with an unnatural and jagged motion, lifting her hand to rub her cheek. âDid you just slap me?â Felicity sucks in a breath. If she steps back, this Laurel, not her Laurel, not her angel, will pin her to the wall- But forward means getting too close, like theyâre not way too fucking close already. So all she can do is root her shoes too the floor, pink patent on concrete. âWho are you?â This is Laurelâs face but not her smile- This is Laurelâs face but her gaze is dead, endless, the kind of thing to violently drown in. Felicity feels her body twist in the water, the air just out of her grasp. âIâm Laurel.â Felicity lifts her fingers to her star- Something her Laurel loves, something she supports, and this not-Laurel seems to frown as Felicityâs fingers rub against the rose gold. âYouâre not Laurel.â âWell,â she says, pulling her gaze away from the offending necklace, tapping her chin in mock thought. âI say Iâm Laurel, and I look like Laurel, and-â She tilts her head. âIâve got wings just like Laurel, so-â âYou donât talk like Laurel,â Felicity says, frightened but insistent. âYou donât hold yourself like Laurel.â âClever,â Laurel says, and she takeâs Felicityâs wrist, pulling it away from her necklace. Felicity lets this Laurel hold her wrist. Pulling away would be a sign of disgust and disgust is a sign of weakness, like this Laurel is doing enough to upset her. And she is, and Felicity feels herself trembling, but she does not pull away. âWhat do you want?â âOh, letâs not rush,â not-Laurel says. âIâm savoring your fear.â âIâm not-â Felicity curls her lip. âWhat?â She says, decidedly. âAre you a demon? You think you can wander around, scaring little Jewish girls? Weâre not Christians. Angels and demons are fun, sure, but Iâm not awed by you.â âYou are awed,â Demon-Laurel says. âYou are awed by angels, like any other human, like sheâs so special-â âLaurel is special because she is Laurel,â Felicity says. âAnd you are just a demon, so you are not.â âYou wound me,â the demon says. âI think youâre very special, Felicity. You canât pay me the same respect?â âScrew you,â Felicity responds. The demon calling herself Laurel who looks like Laurel but is the opposite of Laurel considers this. And she laughs.
