#laughs!

Toru Hagakure - Short, airy laughter with a side of silent ones. If she hears a pretty good joke or sees something funny she’ll clap at it! Loves to laugh, btw.

Katsuki Bakugo - Has The Howler. It starts with a ‘BWA- HAHA’ then progresses into a mixture of cackles and other junk. It’s very loud and actually contagious. Likes to hit people while does. Rarer than Fumikage or Shoto laughing.

Minoru Mineta - has a squeaky, high pitched laugh that starts of with a ‘Tee-hee’ then goes on with a ‘EHhhh- HAHA’. Others would describe his laughter as ‘sounding like a dying rat or hamster. No habits.

Momo Yaoyorozu - Giggles are more her thing. Sound like an ‘mhmm-hmm-hmm-haha’. Keeps her mouth shut at first then lets it out. Hovers a hand over her lips, very lady-like.

Mirio Togata - Nobody really knows what kind of laugh he’s going to have next. One time it sounded like a machine gun, the next it’s a wheeze and a cackle, then this time it’s a chicken laughter. Has different types of laughs depending on the situation but some hear him use The Wheeze and Cackle more than the others. Very, very, very VERY contagious. 

(People confess that his jokes are bland and dumb, but they only laugh because of his laugh at his own jest)

Tamaki Amajiki - A gentle chuckle since he isn’t very vocal in general and gets embarrassed if he laughs loudly. He smiles then locks eyes with the person who made him laugh momentarily . Before he laughs, he drags a hand down his face, stops at his mouth and then he goes. Rarer than Fumikage, but not as rare as Shoto.

Nejire Hado - OH she LOVES to laugh. Nejire has a windshield wiper laugh that is also contagious. Her shoulders bounce along to her intakes of air and she shakes the person nearest to her. Maybe nudges them a little.

Eri - still learning how to laugh genuinely. She only knows how to laugh dryly. A short ‘Haha..’ and she’s done. No habits. // PSA: don’t let her copy Hizashi’s laughter please, have her copy Tamaki’s instead! //

Ken Ishiyama [Cementoss] - The Chuckle. Y’all already know what a chuckle sounds like. He keeps his hands to himself. If he hears a dumb joke that might be funny, he’ll probably smile and place a hand on his forehead.

Nemuri Kayama [Midnight] - The normal Haha laughter if it’s a light joke. If she does find something extremely funny, she’ll crack up with The Silent Laugh. Nemuri squeezes her eyes shut and hugs her tummy, then keels over. Like Hizashi! 

On to the students!

Yuga Aoyama - The High Society Laughter. It’s like an ‘Ah-hmmm-hmm-hmm...’ sound. Doesn’t really do anything notable when he laughs, but he looks like a queen doing so.

Mina Ashido - She laughs with a little air after a set of ha’s. Likes to hold onto someone for support because she goes weak on the knees if she really finds something humorous.

Tsuyu Asui - The cutest little giggles are what she does. She likes touching or covering her mouth, but if she doesn’t she has the biggest grin on her face. It sounds like a ‘eh- hee hee hee’.

Ochaco Uraraka - Oh god, she loves to laugh. The splatterer is the kind of laugh she makes. Basically spewing out air (and maybe a little saliva) and goes ‘ppffftt- HAHA’ whenever something tickles her funny bone. Her habit while she laughs is that she clutches her sides because they hurt from laughing too much!

Ojiro Mashirao - Though not much of a talker, he likes to secretly laugh at the stupid conversations some of his classmates have. He has The Snicker. When he laughs while listening in, he raises his shoulders and slaps a hand over his mouth. When he really wants to laugh, he has The Howler. Sounds like an ‘AHH -- HAHA’ with a tiny wheeze in the middle.

Denki Kaminari - The Chicken. When he laughs, he lets out really loud HA’s and takes in air before firing laughter again. When he breathes in though, it sounds like a crowing chicken, making others laugh as well. EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS, MY GUYS!! He leans on others or falls over when he laughs.

Eijiro Kirishima - He likes laughing too! His laugh starts of with an ‘Eh-hehe’ then goes on to a loud, belly laughter of HAHA’s. His habit is that he likes hitting people. Dangerous with his quirk enabled -- please don’t make him laugh during training.

Koji Koda - This shy baby laughs with a soft tone you’ll never even notice that he’s laughing. Very rare to actually hear him laugh. He dips his head and covers him mouth, as if his laughter isn’t even barely audible.

Rikido Sato - Despite his large form, he has a high pitched dolphin laugh! His laugh is also so contagious that people forget to tease him about his laugh! Tends to smack a hand over his face.

Mezo Shoji - the gentle giant has a deep chuckle. Sounds like an ‘Mmm-hmm-hmm- hehehe’. He laughs with his shoulders shaking up and down.

Kyoka Jiro - Much like Ochaco, she has the splatterer and the snort. Her laugh sounds like a ‘PFFFT- HAHAHAHA *snort* HAHA!’. Doesn’t care that she snorts when she laughs. It only ever happens when she thinks something is absolutely, undeniably funny to her.

Hanta Sero - Has a chicken and cackle laugh. If he and Denki were to laugh together they’d have difficulty stopping since their laughters are both so very contagious! He tends to throw his head back and wheeze when a set of Haha’s end.
