Today I am reminded to be grateful. 🙏🏻 (I finished work late and as I was walking my way home, I passed by a vagrant sleeping on the sidewalk. He looked very cold, fragile, undernourished and lonely. Today was full of complaints and hardships, but looking at this poor man, I told myself, 'some people have problems worse than yours'. Thank you Lord for this realization. Late night realizations.

Love can be beautiful, full of mystery and the discovery of the person you're with as well as yourself. Love for me helped me discover that I couldn't just love a boy, but I could also love a girl. I guilty sinful love frowned on by others, that made me question myself as a being. Then I realized I couldn't help it or change. Nor did I need to. I'm not ashamed, I'm proud, because from the gain of someone's love I became happy with discovering the real me. Even if I may have loss the love of another.

The day I fell in love with you. Was the day I saw you in my mothers eyes, while she was telling me how my Mr. Right should be. The day I left you. Was the day I realized, that my eyes showed more love to you than to myself. No. I didn't leave because I stopped loving you. I left because if I stayed, I would've lost the smallest amount of love I have towards myself.
