It’s called aging: when you notice amongst a bunch of Mazda rotaries, Supras and RX7/8s, a Toyota Majesta, the rarely seen top-of-the-range saloon.
This one looked to be a fifth gen, produced between 2009 and 2013. Most use a four-point-something litre V8, driving either the rear or all wheels through a slush box. Chinese versions offer the choice of several smaller engines with V6 and four-cylinder models.
Certainly distinctive, in an anonymous, carspotters-only way, this model was the last of the V8s, with the following generation adopting a V6-only range.
